From San Jose take the bridge over the estuary and go through about six round abouts. Just after you start seeing the boats take the dirt road to the right along the marina and don't blink because you might miss it like I did.
This was in my top two restaurants for seven days of eating out. For seafood it was hands down the best. Our group of eight was greeted immediately and led into the downstairs dining room which we got all to ourselves. They even had a high chair for our toddler which isn't as common in restaurants as I thought.
Im a sushi lover but I've never had aguachiles in my life. I took a big chance eating raw shrimp in Mexico but it was well worth it. Between everyone else in the group we had ceviche, shrimp burgers, and fish and chip like you've never had before with a little added spice for zip. I was the hero in the group that night for finding this little gem of a restaurant. You have to add this stop to your trip if you go.
