This place is well worth the journey off the beaten path and the money. We happened to be the only clientele on the evening we dined here. Did not matter at all. Our waiter was so sweet and the chef was so accommodating and sent out many amuse. The spot is picturesque. The organic food is delicious. Top notch, unique experience for us in Cabo. Thumbs up also for the great bottle of Mexican wine we shared!

Los Tamarindos is a really beautiful restaurant set on an organic farm in San Jose. It's only a few minutes from the centre of San Jose and from the marina, down a sandy track to to the farm, but when you arrive you feel like you're miles away from any hustle and bustle. I have to recommend arriving in daylight so you can appreciate the setting.

The food was terrific, as was service. Menu is interesting. Decent wine list, only 1 standard beer. Overall a great place to come and eat great food, grown and prepared on the farm.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner and loved it. The place is a bit off the grid, which we like, but their website has a map and there are signs along the way. The atmosphere alone is worth the trip-- beautiful fields, antique brick building, and a villa type feel-- but the food was excellent. The food was so fresh that we had to wait a bit for our salad because one of the guys had to go and pick the tomatoes for it first. I had the fish and my wife had the pizza and both had fresh herbs, veggies, fresh everything-- they were both amazing. Service was a bit slow, but I think that was more cultural than anything else. Highly recommend this place.

We just attended the cooking school and it was one of the best days ever in San Jose. Can't say enough about the welcoming attitude of Chef Enrique, who was so helpful and attentive. One of the students who is serious about food remarked it was the best class she ever attended.
Everyone who worked there made you feel like a guest in their home,
We ate overlooking their fields of fruit and vegetables.

We had a cooking school here with Chef Enrique. Learned a lot and made everything from roasted peppercorns, herb infused olive oil, chicken with green sauce, carrot soup and squash flowers for dessert.
