“Honeymoon Heaven”

Although we were staying here on our honeymoon, I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a truly relaxing experience. Everything was superb- facilities, amenities, and service. 2 beautiful infinity pools overlook the ocean. Towels & chairs are wonderful & are all free of charge. Each pool has a swim up bar & restaurant. Although my husband & I do like to venture out- you could stay here all week & never want/need to leave. Rental car facilities are available on site as well as 3 restaurants & 1 shop. We did room service 2 nights. The food was just ok but it was nice to just get to stay in your room. Also mini bar is very affordable. Unlike many places it's only marginally marked up. Overall- fantastic experience & great value! Highly recommend!

This was a top of the line hotel. So many great things about it that made us enjoy our stay there so much. The service was outstanding and the friendlyness of the staff was warming which made our leaving difficult because we still wanted to make our stay longer. The small touches for example the towel animals on our beds each night was just over the top and ofcourse the view was breathtaking.

Our first time to Cabo, and we will be back!!!
The Hilton is a fantastic resort with the right amount of great food, great accommodations, great weather, and employees that go out of their way to make you welcome and well taken care of. Juan Carlos at the pool, who knew my name & my special drink after the first day, and Benita at breakfast that was good about making sure we had an extra muffin everyday, are only two examples.
Everyone at the resort made our 40th anniversary celebration a most memorable vacation.
I would recommend the Hilton Las Cabos to anyone, and, in fact, I already have to my son for his honeymoon next year.

Room Tip: Oceanfront Junior Suite is great for sunrises

We visited in September 2013 and received exceptional care and attention during our entire stay. The staff was very warm and friendly and went out of their way to insure we had everything we needed. It was our anniversary and they made it very special for us. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were great. The pool and spa staffs were also outstanding.

This is one of the most guest service hotels we have ever stayed at . Especially by the pool.At 10 am you are given grapes on a stick, noon, wet, cool wash cloths, 3 pm kiwi, lime or pineapple Popsicles. You are acknowledged by your name every time they greet you. DIEGO was an exceptional employee. .
The views are spectacular. A cab ride into Cabo San Lucas is a must.
You will think you are in paradise and will not want to leave this beautiful property.

Me and my wife went to Los Cabos knowing almost nothing about that region and what we would discover. And we had a great surprise.

The place is beautiful. Great beaches (but you have to look for them because most of them aren’t appropriate for swimming) and excellent restaurants (in San Jose del Cabo).

About the hotel:

- Reception:

The reception is very quickly and made by the valet men that receives your car (if you arrive at the hotel by car). The staff is a little bit instable, as you have some members that are very pleasant and really worried about your happiness (like Molly) and others that are not so friendly.

- Swimming pool and Beach:

Very beautiful with a clean structure and a lot of options for who want to just stay at the hotel and swimming pool. The beach of the hotel has a part that is appropriate for swimming, something rare in Los Cabos, as most of the region has beaches that is not suggested to swimming. And this small part of Hilton’s beach is great!

The only problem is that you don’t have any kind of beach service from the hotel on this area (at least, I did not see any staff member on this area on the 08 days that I stayed on Hilton Los Cabos).

- The restaurants:

We had lunch in our first day. Really disappointed. Very simple the food and overpriced.
In a different way, the breakfast in INCRERIBLE!!! A lot of options: fruits, natural juices, breads and everything else. We are used to stay in a lot of 5 and 4 stars hotels around the world and I must register that it’s hard to remember another breakfast so great as this one. Excellent! And the attention of the breakfast staff is something wonderful… in special, Benita, who is all the time smiling and asking you if everything is ok. Congratulations!

- The room:

We got a partial oceanview. Before we arrived, I expected that it was almost without a view from the sea. But I was wrong; what they call partial oceanview in fact is almost fullview. The holly difference from the full oceanview is that on the partial one you have also the view from the hotel beside Hilton.

The bathroom is huge. And beautiful in its spacious are.

- The bad surprise:

Although the great points that the hotel has, we got a BIG deception in our check-out: the tip for breakfast.

When we checked out, we discover that, in fact, our breakfast included reservation wasn’t with a breakfast with no charge. The hotel charge you, even if you book with breakfast included, 7 dollars per day as breakfast tip. It seems ridiculous, as the breakfast it’s not included at all. We felt cheated. If the hotel want more money, increase the others tax or charges, but not create tip’s charges to get more guest’s money. Really disappointed.

This is the 3rd time we have been to this property in September and it is one of the most relaxing places I've ever been. When you arrive at the hotel, you are greeted with a smile and a complimentary margarita and taken to your room. The rooms are a little tired and have a faint mildewy smell but hey, you're not there to spend time in the room and they are perfectly acceptable. The partial ocean view was gorgeous and the bed and bathroom were very comfortable and luxurious.

We arrived to a giant arrangement of "towel swans" and balloons and "happy anniversary" spelled out on our bed. In addition, room service brought us a complimentary tray of cheese and desserts, along with a bottle of wine for our anniversary, all because my husband happened to mention it was our anniversary on the phone when prompted.

We had done the downtown Cabo thing a couple of times and this time chose to just sit by the pool and chill for all four days with our books, I know exciting but hey, we are here to relax. Each day we enjoyed different drinks, including those suggested by our poolside helpers. Rodriguo, Bryan and Diego were all outstanding as are most all of the staff. They have the customer service thing down and truly seem interested in getting to know the guests and taking care of you.

We tried all the onsite restaurants, including the poolside sushi -- excellent -- and wood fired pizzas. The last night we were seated next to the pool with a view out to the ocean while we enjoyed some red wine and homemade pasta. The shrimp, sea bass and tuna are local and fresh.

Key to a successful trip to Cabo IMO is timing. We choose to come in September because of the lack of crowds and the excellent service, plus it's easy to get a spot by the pool and get a waiter to bring you drinks all day long with no interruption. Yes it's hurricane season and yes it's hot, but you are by the pool and we've never had a weather issue. The other great thing about the Hillton is they have this little bay where you can swim. At the end of each day we spent about an hour bobbing up and down in the waves. This is pretty cool because in Cabo there are not many hotels that actually have a swimmable beach.

The new terminal at the airport is super nice and makes the trip even more pleasant. Flying nonstop from Chicago is only 3 1/2 hours, and then 30 minutes to the hotel, makes this an easy long weekend. Tip, pass by ALL the guys at the airport that you even think might be time share guys, cause yes they are, nobody should be trying to get your attention, trust me. Head right to the window marked "taxi" and don't talk to anybody till you get there.

Room Tip: If you smell mildew in your room, you might want to ask for another room.
