Better than our honeymoon.

This resort exceeded my expectations even after reading all of the positive reviews. My husband and I stayed here July 14-19th, 2013. From the minute we set foot on property we two things were apparent: The property was well-cared for and the staff was happy to be there and genuinely enjoyed their jobs. As early-risers, we were able to get a cabana which was nice although there's no bad seat at either of the pools and the pool service is great no matter where you are (Thanks, Diego!). Our two dinners at Fenicia were outstanding (Thanks, Eduardo!). Happy Hour at La Vista was relaxing. Housekeeping was extremely professional and accommodating....down to the different pool towel animals each day (and we weren't there with kids!) (Thank you, Teresa!). My husband and I have already decided to try to come back with the kids before the year's out. I can't fathom a reason to stay anywhere else.

I am a Hilton Diamond member so I stay at Hiltons across the country all year long and this is BY FAR the best experience and property in the portfolio. A job well done to Mr. Booth and his entire staff...thank you all so very much!

I just got back from a 5 day 4 night stay at the Hilton Los Cabos and the hotel, food, and service was amazing. The beach and pool are great and i enjoyed each meal we had. As people have mentioned in the past the food and drink at the hotel is pricey but all excellent. I look forward to returning to the Hilton Los Cabos in the future!!

Room Tip: We chose an ocean front suite and it was amazing!!

The view was beyond expectations. We had oceanfront rooms. The restaurants were high quality with a memorable wine list. The staff, ohhh the staff, friendly and helpful, they even carried your plates at the breakfast buffet. the concierge, Pablo, was amazing. He went out of his way to make sure you knew the positives and negatives about every location we visited. One day when planning a beach, snorkel trip he warned us about possible jellyfish. This was one great relaxing vacation. Clean, beautiful, and just all around amazing. Just have to qualify a few things...I went with my adult children and the 30 year old wanted to "party" in her world with the dancing on the ceiling atmosphere. This is not that hotel...no music at poolside, a lot of younger families, safe and beautiful. The other alert is that it isn't close to town, so when we wanted to go to an outside restaurant, etc it was a $50 cab ride (we were 8 people). I charted a van on several nights..it was much more convenient and for 5 hours it wasn't that expensive for 8 adults. The breakfast buffet, the ocean, the pool, the bars, the rooms and especially the staff were all heavenly. If you are looking to get sprayed with champagne in the pool to loud music then this is not that place.

Room Tip: Oceanfront is the way to go, the first floor has outdoor lounges on the patio...the higher floors on...

Excellent property. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Pool and beach were both equally enjoyable. Food was quite good, particularly the tacos at the pool bar (both Asada and Pastor styles were better than anything we had in either Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo). Would not hesitate to book here again.

Thank you for your review. We are happy to discover that you enjoyed the beach and pool areas of our resort. What better way to fulfill the swimming munchies than ordering tacos at the pool bar! We do look forward to welcoming you during your next stay.

As many have written, the staff here really really take care of you! We have enjoyed their warmness and welcoming nature. The pools are great - dark stones so they soak in and keep the sun's warmth all day and into the evening. We loved the swim up bars... eating our lunches there. We don't drink a lot and were still welcomed at the bar for food, no issues.

There is no lounge here, but the main breakfast is extensive and really well done with great selections. The pastries were hit or miss... some days they were fantastic, and other days .... more like a bad imitation. We are diamond members and continental was included (note: when you use the coupons for breakfast, they automatically include a $25 paso / per person tip charged directly to the room) or you can upgrade to full buffet for an additional $8 USD. We felt it was worth the upgraded cost and most mornings both had hot breakfasts. Our room had a nicely oriented bathroom.. with standalone shower and giant jacuzzi tub. Shower pressure was decent. They also provided some green aloe 'after sun' moisturizer which is another nice touch. The towels are big and soft and in our room they provided two bath robes. The bed in our room was really comfortable/soft and with nice linens. Pillows are really soft but had enough content to them that we didn't wake up with sore necks. AC worked really well in our room - my husband got the room down to 61 at one point (we like to sleep in colder temps). We could hear outside our door when people walked through the hallway, but for the most part the entire hotel was pretty quiet at night. If you like to go to bed early however (around 9/10ish).... may want to stay away from the main pool area as sometimes people who are eating in the restaurants there can be loud at night. Our room overlooked the smaller pool and we really liked the view of the ocean from there.

At the pools they offer nice sunning beds and as many towels as you could wish for. The hot tub by the smaller pool is huge and another highlight we enjoyed a great deal. We ate several lunches and dinners on site and enjoyed every single one. We had their tap water - no issues at all.

One of the days we couldn't get the wireless to work (for about 30 min), but all other times, we've had two devices on it with no issues.

The beach ... people here have noted it but its worth saying again.. holy moly are the waves on the beach big. They make it so you can't go in and play in the ocean (unless you swim really fast out far enough to get to a calmer place). There is a tiny little area by some rocks that could maybe get away with it for a while, but not really peaceful fun swimming. But we were not missing out on playing in the ocean - mainly because the pools were so great! Sad but true. The sand is also not very soft. You can walk on it alright.. but just be aware if you have feet not use to walking barefoot all the time - it may be pretty uncomfortable. We walked along the beach a couple of times, got soaked by some waves and enjoyed just that much... then headed right to the pools.

Parking - we rented a car and drove from the airport. To get to the Hilton from the main road, you have to go into another hotel's parking entrance.. around a round about with bumby coblestones and then to the Hilton gate where you tell the attendant your room (or that you're about to check in). Parking was free. We mainly rented a car because we read about taxi expenses/drama and wanted to avoid that. However, we've been told by a person here they offer a free taxi service into the main town. Not sure how that works but may be an option if you're looking to not have a car. Parking was easy though once past the gate and their valet option is free.

Overall, we really liked this place and were pleasantly surprised at how relaxed and comfortable we were.

Room Tip: If you like it quieter at dusk / early evening, go for a room facing the smaller of the pools.

Perfect location as you are in the middle of Cabo and San Jose. Coming from a week at the One and Only La Palmilla I thought I would be in for a huge let down but not the case. The room was exceptionally clean (I am OCD), large, updated, and had really nice decor. The view off our balcony was spectacular! We apparently were in the newer time share wing. Very quiet rooms but outside music is loud and blaring late into the evening as this place has weddings/receptions nonstop. The grounds and pools are very beautiful, but can be crowded in the day so we used them at night. I love that this hotel has boutiques on premise. The buffet at El Meson exceeded my expectations for being so delicious! You can order your own omelet, plus they have many FRESH juiced drinks to choose from. More food choices than any buffet I have ever been to. Quality and quantity were tops! Prices are so reasonable and waiters so genuinely friendly. You can walk across the street to catch the city bus into either Cabo or San Jose for $2 per person. Otherwise you will end up spending $15 one way for a taxi. Ask the bellmen for help with buses and they will direct you. Bus drivers don't speak any English so know where you are going. It was easy but buses aren't the cleanest. Overall great experience!

Room Tip: Ask for the newer time share wing.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a few notes regarding your stay. We are very pleased that you were so satisfied with your transfer to our resort. Gazing out at the Sea of Cortez is a truly relaxing few moments during your day. Thank you for the tip to our future and returning guests regarding transportation into Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. We hope that you will return to stay with us again in the future.

This was my first trip to Cabo San Lucas and I did a lot of research before finally deciding to stay at the Hilton. I have to say it was the best decision ever. The hotel is lovely and everyone is so nice and helpful. The hotel is about 15 min. from the airport and we found it very easy to get into town on the bus. The food was spectacular! I wish I had taken the room & breakfast special offered by Hilton. The breakfast buffet has anything you could want and more. After such a filling morning meal I would eat in town for dinner (sometimes just a little cheaper).

The only negative I would mention is that the room service person kept forgetting face towels and soap when she refreshed the room. Once reminded, she left one in the room the following day. We had to call housekeeping twice and they brought those items right up. Not a big thing and it would not prevent me from returning.

The infinity pool late at night is very romantic and the view of the hotel all lit up against the night sky was something you just have to see for yourself. The beach was great and the water was beautiful. The current was very strong during the visit with a Red Flag alert being issued. The weather was perfect and the views from the room balcony was spectacular. We stayed in on the 3rd floor which was perfect - it is the same floor as registration, the main lounge area and spa services. The pool and access to the beach is all on the first floor. The hotel is very large so it took me a little time to get acclimated to where everything was located.

I am looking forward to returning will likely stay at the Hilton again.

Happy and safe travels to everyone planning to go.

Room Tip: Upon check-in I always ask for the highest floor available. There are six floors to his hotel and t...
