Description: ( Closed Mondays) Floras Field kitchen is about handmade food using our farm fresh ingredients. Our goal is to create a healthy family meal with a sense of place. Our day begins at four in the morning when Jose the baker arrives to fire the wood oven. Working with sourdough cultures and pre ferments he makes loaves of Pain L'ancienne baguette, ciabatta, sourdough, focaccia, whole wheat and herb breads. Chefs, cooks, stewards, the butcher and farm hands begin arriving after first light. Throughout the morning produce comes in to be washed and prepped while the line gets fired up to prepare the first meals- through dinner there is harvesting going hand in hand with cooking. All meats served at Floras Field Kitchen come from our nearby 150-acre ranch where animals are humanely raised on diets that do not include hormones or antibiotics. In the evening, and for Sunday brunches, the wood-burning oven becomes Mamas pizzeria. We make Neapolitan style pizza with fresh mozzarella and dough that is built over time and handled lightly.

Went on my 40th birthday with a group of 6. Taxi ride there seemed like a road to nowhere and then you arrive at the most wonderful place. Friendly staff welcomes you, little buildings filled with bath items, jewelry, art. Get there at least an hour before your reservation to order a delicious drink (carrot margarita or watermelon margarita-YUM), browse the shops and walk the garden paths. The ambiance is just magical. Food was to die for, everything so fresh. By far the best meal we had on our trip. They put a birthday sign on our table and brought a piece of heavenly chocolate cake for dessert, very thoughtful. Area to purchase fresh produce and baked goods. Be sure to buy some honey and one of the awesome Flora Farm bags. This is an absolute must see, drink and eat place! Forever in my heart!

Flora's Field Kitchen specializes in wonderful Mexican food made with local ingredients. It's a great place for lunch or dinner and is just an amazing place to walk around and have a nice time. It's kind of out of the way - in a remote part of San Jose del Cabo, so best to go if you rented a car because cab fare and be expensive.

We had an amazing lunch by the extensive gardens...wood fired foccacia. Seared tuna and fabulous salad.

My wife and I had lunch here on Christmas Day while in Baja for vacation (we actually went straight from the airport to dine here!). Other family had been telling us to come here for years, so we finally made it happen.

Our lunch was fantastic from the moment we arrived. Since it was busy, our table wasn't quite ready so we had a cocktail at the bar. Our drinks were delicious and the nonalcoholic ingredients were mostly from their own garden (my margarita had fresh carrot juice, and was even better than I expected). Shortly after our drinks arrived, our table was ready and we had our lunch in the front area close to the bar and garden.

Since we were fairly hungry after our flight, we ordered several plates to share from both the appetizer and entree sections. We enjoyed house-cured culatella with local grapes, a large garden salad, and one of their pizzas (house-made sausage & fennel) and their catch of the day (yellow-fin tuna). Everything was delicious and we managed to finish it all, save for a few slices of pizza that we boxed up.

The setting is wonderful, amongst their gardens and shaded by trellises. We poked around their market shop and bought some honey & granola, and their homemade bitters selection was great too (I bought habanero bitters).

From the view, location, taste, to the wildlife-you must visit this place when in Cabo. This place was a recommendation from a friend of mine who lives in Cabo. The atmosphere was to die for. We went for a late lunch, and got a delicious carrot margarita (I cant remember the name-just ask) the catch of the day was a tuna, and was the best tuna I have ever had. I cannot say on bad thing about the visit.
