Description: ( Closed Mondays) Floras Field kitchen is about handmade food using our farm fresh ingredients. Our goal is to create a healthy family meal with a sense of place. Our day begins at four in the morning when Jose the baker arrives to fire the wood oven. Working with sourdough cultures and pre ferments he makes loaves of Pain L'ancienne baguette, ciabatta, sourdough, focaccia, whole wheat and herb breads. Chefs, cooks, stewards, the butcher and farm hands begin arriving after first light. Throughout the morning produce comes in to be washed and prepped while the line gets fired up to prepare the first meals- through dinner there is harvesting going hand in hand with cooking. All meats served at Floras Field Kitchen come from our nearby 150-acre ranch where animals are humanely raised on diets that do not include hormones or antibiotics. In the evening, and for Sunday brunches, the wood-burning oven becomes Mamas pizzeria. We make Neapolitan style pizza with fresh mozzarella and dough that is built over time and handled lightly.

If you like to eat well and experience chef prepared details, you won't want to miss dining here. They served complimentary appetizer bites which were impressive. The ambience is incredible.

The experience was interesting. The drive up through deserted unlit dirt roads made us wonder if we might be murdered, but then we arrived in the amazing oasis of the farm. I wish we had been there in daylight and in time for a tour, which we've heard is great. But the meal was the LEAST delicious (but most expensive) meal we've had in San Jose (plus the $60 cab ride made the evening especially costly). All our meals were ordinary and OVERCOOKED. I would never go back here again, and I would not recommend it--at least not for dinner.

We came to this beautiful spot to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The farm tour was enlightening, the atmosphere romantic artsy chic, and the fried chicken outstanding. It was tucked away and hard to find, but thanks to some good directions from a local we made it. Anyone who appreciates good food should make this a go to spot when in the Cabo area.

Everything was ultra cool! From classes to the heirloom tomatoes Bloody Mary. I was in Heaven! Walking through acres of herbs, vegetables and fruits organically grown just took me back.
Eduardo Sanchez jewelry is fabulous as he redesigned some earrings while I learned to make Salsa.

I would move there tomorrow!
