Description: ( Closed Mondays) Floras Field kitchen is about handmade food using our farm fresh ingredients. Our goal is to create a healthy family meal with a sense of place. Our day begins at four in the morning when Jose the baker arrives to fire the wood oven. Working with sourdough cultures and pre ferments he makes loaves of Pain L'ancienne baguette, ciabatta, sourdough, focaccia, whole wheat and herb breads. Chefs, cooks, stewards, the butcher and farm hands begin arriving after first light. Throughout the morning produce comes in to be washed and prepped while the line gets fired up to prepare the first meals- through dinner there is harvesting going hand in hand with cooking. All meats served at Floras Field Kitchen come from our nearby 150-acre ranch where animals are humanely raised on diets that do not include hormones or antibiotics. In the evening, and for Sunday brunches, the wood-burning oven becomes Mamas pizzeria. We make Neapolitan style pizza with fresh mozzarella and dough that is built over time and handled lightly.

This is the place I take my out of town guests when I want to impress them. The grounds are beautiful, the food is fresh and tasty, service is amazing... but you definetly pay for it. The only time I felt it was over the top expensive was Easter Brunch for $50 dllrs, and not even 1 glass of champagne was included, thay may just be me, but I think that is pricey for eggs, pancakes, salad and a table with jellybeans... however if you want to try it and are unsure, lunch is a good option, and fairly afordable. Also dont expect to find mexican food at this place just because its in Mexico... It's American Comfort food with wonderful local organic ingredients (most of them). There is no public transportation to Flora's, a taxi is about $25 dollars each way from San Jose, so take that into consideration.

Superb! My family and I ventured in on bicycles. Not recommended unless you're avid cyclists. We had farm fresh BLTs on fresh made bread, mixed greens salads, homemade sausages, and delicious iced teas with lemonade (Arnold Palmer). I had a lavender martini that they boast about their homemade lavender bitters. It was amazing! So good I needed some bitters to take home as well. Worth the trip!

We rally liked our stay in Cabo San Jose and the dinner at Flora's Field Kitchen was one of the highlights. The food was good, the drinks were interesting and the atmosphere was great. This place is great if you want to do something different.

Highly worth a visit to this unique restaurant. A real get-away from the typical Cabo experience. Tuesday night fried chicken is a must. Cocktails are spectacular as well!
