Description: ( Closed Mondays) Floras Field kitchen is about handmade food using our farm fresh ingredients. Our goal is to create a healthy family meal with a sense of place. Our day begins at four in the morning when Jose the baker arrives to fire the wood oven. Working with sourdough cultures and pre ferments he makes loaves of Pain L'ancienne baguette, ciabatta, sourdough, focaccia, whole wheat and herb breads. Chefs, cooks, stewards, the butcher and farm hands begin arriving after first light. Throughout the morning produce comes in to be washed and prepped while the line gets fired up to prepare the first meals- through dinner there is harvesting going hand in hand with cooking. All meats served at Floras Field Kitchen come from our nearby 150-acre ranch where animals are humanely raised on diets that do not include hormones or antibiotics. In the evening, and for Sunday brunches, the wood-burning oven becomes Mamas pizzeria. We make Neapolitan style pizza with fresh mozzarella and dough that is built over time and handled lightly.

Flora's Farm is a beautiful setting in a remote location outside San Jose Del Cabo. The eggplant appetizer was brilliant, the wine was great, and the half chicken was just prepared perfectly! Then to top things off the cheesecake made a nice finish. The evening we went there was live Jazz music to add to a great experience.

Food, ambiance, service all made this special evening outstanding. Although we've been coming to this area for 19 years, we have never ventured this far 'out of town' for dinner. Since the new bridge and direction signs were recently completed, getting to Flora's is almost easy. However, the last lap is on a dirt, winding, hilly road--so driver beware especially at night! We were there on a Tuesday evening when the special is Fried Chicken, a must have. Reservations strongly recommended. Enroute to dinner, we stopped at the newly completed Hotel Gonza (on the new marina) for a drink at sunset, on the roof--magical!

We had heard about this "farm" restaurant but this was our first visit. After driving a little way into what appeared to be uninhabitable desert, we arrived at Flora's. It's a wonderful little oasis with colorful gardens. The food was spectacular with home baked bread and vegetables fresh out of their garden. This will be a "must visit" spot for us on future Cabo trips.

OK - It's true, it is difficult to get to. But is it ever worth the effort! I would recommend doing a dry run during daylight hours to become familiar with the route. As a bonus, you can see the farm in the daylight, and it is beautiful. Lovingly tended fields, serene setting, just a beautiful overall experience. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We went for dinner, and the food was outstanding. Make sure you have reservations for dinner-when we went there were over 150 people there. It is currently one of the most popular places in the area. The herb pasta was wonderful. Rather than the fried egg that comes on it, I asked for fennel sausage, and it really complemented the dish. The salads were one of freshest I ever tasted. No doubt the ingredients were in the ground that morning. Desserts were awesome also.

I love this place! Definitely is the best brunch spot in Cabo. When I knew about the price (more than 35 per person) I thought it was way too much for brunch, then I got there and it think is worth it. The atmosphere was great, the service was awesome too, we didn't have a reservation but the hostess found us a sit in less than
5 min! I loooove the food, specially the pancakes. The only thing that I didn't like was that I had to go and get my own coffee but overall it was great.
