We have eaten here several times in the last two years and have never been disappointed. Tonight was no exception. Blackened mahi-mahi was cooked to perfection and my partner said her pork enchiladas were the best she had ever had. Margees were delish. The restaurant is spotless, the staff are friendly and accommodating, the owner is a sweetie, the ambience is terrific and the food is exceptional. What more could we want. Highly recommended

This is one of the best places we tried during our week in the area. We liked La Salsa's so much, we had dinner there twice!
First night, I had a chicken pasta with Alfredo sauce, which was excellent. The next time there, I had a juicy hamburger with bleu cheese. Yummy! Both portions were generous, and I took home leftovers for the next day's lunch. Side salads at both meals were crisp and fresh. Others in our group enjoyed everything from steak to Mexican sampler.
Best of all, we enjoyed the smiles of the attentive staff. The waiters are friendly and eager to please - something we didn't experience everywhere we went.
The atmosphere was festive, casual and comfortable.
We really had fun and felt welcome as old friends.
Give this place a try, and you won't be disappointed!

LaSalsa's is located in front of the Coral Baja Resort and walking distance from the Bel Aire and other condo resorts. It offers quality food at very fair prices. The restaurant is mostly outdoors under the stars, so take a sweater during the cooler nights. We were met at the entrance by the friendly staff that understands and speaks English, so ordering is easy.
The margaritas are large and very tasty. We ordered the shrimp tacos and the chicken pasta dinners. The shrimp tacos were simply delicious. The pasta had a wonderful Alfredo sauce and the side salad was refreshing. Portions are plentiful, so if you are staying in a condo, ask for a take out container for the left overs. They have both American standards as well as Mexican food selections, so there is something for everyone. The staff is attentive and friendly. We never lacked for anything we asked for or needed. You can pay in either pesos or US dollars which is a plus. If you are looking for typical restaurant ambience, you may not find it here, but if you are looking for great food and new friends, this is the place to go!

We loved everything about this place. It is cute, quiet and not very big. The entire staff was cheerful and pleasant. The menu had a good variety and great prices. The service was top notch and very fast. A few of the other places we have eaten at this week took forever and the staff seemed bothered by helping us. All of the staff here had smiles for us. It was great! The food awesome too. We had crisp salads, good Mexican food, huge steaks and delicious pasta Alfredo! Then a lady came and asked us how our food was. She turned out to be the owner, Shelia. What a nice lady!!! She even gave other restaurant recommendations and a few activity ideas. Thanks so much Shelia and staff!

Having read all the great reviews about this place, we were excited to go but honestly we left a little disappointed with the whole experience. The atmosphere is basically some fold up tables and chairs set up around a swimming pool for a small apartment building. A couple of small speakers plugged into an ipod sitting on a bench provide music for the audio ambience. The menu is pretty basic. My husband tried to order tuna but was told that was only for tacos so he had that. The food itself was actually pretty good, completely edible, just nothing special like we expected from all the raves, but, there was lots of it - if that's what you're after. I had their fish with a baked potato and would rather get a little less food as there's no way I could eat that much, I had half a head of broccoli on my plate. The place wasn't that busy but after a fairly long wait, we finally got our salad and tortilla chips, then our meals were served about 30 seconds later, The waiter offered to take them back and hold onto them but we said it was ok, what are you going to do? Poor timing on the service. There are much better restaurants in the area than this one.
