We must have stuck out like a sore thumb because a few locals flagged us down and asked where we were going. We were in not the nicest neighborhood, but they were so friendly and gave us very helpful directions on how to get to Guacamaya's. That's one thing I love about Mexico is they are very hospital. Anyhow, we finally found Guacamaya's and was promptly seated. We ordered the stone bowl, taco's, and quesadilla. Each was good. My wife enjoyed her flavored water as well. They know they can charge a bit higher because it attracts tourists. I didn't see too many locals eating here. Would recommend!

The food was amazing. The flank steak bowl was incredible. We have a few more nights left in the Cabo area and might make it for a second round!

Exceptional restaurant in San Jose del Cabo. This place is the real deal. We had a wonderful family dinner. Best tacos and stone bowls in town. The service is quick, the food is great, and the prices make it easy to go back. Our server Eberly did everything possible to make our meal and experience truly memorable!

The food is really great and authentic. We love everything from the molcajete to sopes to papas! Everything was wonderful and tons of condiments to go with it. We always go for horchata and spend around $250-350 when we go. Pricey but totally worth it on vaca.
Luis, our awesome waiter, i convinced us to try the fried cheese today and we didnt regret it. Awesome suggestion.
Love this place and recommend you try it atleast once! ❤

Went to Cabo looking for authentic, delicious Mexican food. Guacamayas did not disappoint! Mouth watering flavors in meats (el pastor was YUM!), generous serving portions, evidently fresh with home made taste (props to the guacamole, corn tortilla & pico de gallo). Can't go wrong with anything u order. Mango margarita so refreshing with a kick. Our server Luis went over, above and beyond to make sure that our meal and our experience was memorable. He also did not disappoint! Will definitely go back for round 2 before leaving Cabo. Highly recommend
