Just got back from Cabo today and had the best time!! Rosio always was making sure we were having a great time when in the pool and ensured any of our needs were met! The food was good and Christian the bartender was always smiling! great staff! Will miss Rosio!

Just got back from Cabo and stayed again at the Hoilday Inn Resort. Had a wonderful time. We stayed at another hotel for 2 days and went over to check out what rooms were open when we came in on Monday. Leonardo took the time to take us to the room and see if it was o.k..It was in building one since 1,2,3 buildings were the only ones open at the time. Gave us a first floor with an oceanview. Rooms could use a little color to them but it was great. Close to everything. They had a great Mexican show. Food was good but I can see some difference in food since it changed hands. Staff was great, everyone from Cruz, Elva, Alma, Laura and everyone else. The one good thing we did was have room service for breakfast. Very relaxing to sit and watch the ocean. Met alot of great people from all over the world. Don't think I would stay anywhere else. The hotel could use a little up-grading, a little lipstick on the lady. Drinks are good and customer service even better. They have a shuttle that will take you to Cabo San Lucas and taxi's are in front to take you into town ($5). One thing is seeing people not leave a tip for the service from the help. It maybe be all inclusive but tips are still welcome.

Room Tip: Any rooms on the frist floor have great views.

Middle age couple, wanted to relax and unwind, that was exactly what we did. Communicated with Raul in reservations, who absolutely went above and beyond in excellent service to make sure we were taken care of. Our trip was from May 20 to 27, received complementary champagne in our room for a Birthday Celebration, and every staff member from food service to front desk to housekeeping were excellent and went our of their way to ensure we were comfortable. We tipped a lot as service was so excellent, but never felt as though the staff expected it. The waiters in the self serve buffets would even offer to carry the plate of food you filled to your table for you LOL. Water, wine, coffee cups were filled regularly without asking, chair pulled out for the ladies when staff seat you and all food service staff took pride in their work whether the buffet or the a-la carte restaurants. My husband really appreciated that dress shorts were allowed in the restaurants, did not have to wear long dress pants (too hot for a warm climate) so thank you Holiday Inn for the relaxed regulations. It was low season so no line-ups and we always got a reservation in the a-la carte by booking at 10:00 at the Napa restaurant. We can only speak for the ground floor lanai (hammock) rooms as we stayed in one, but that room is amazing. We asked for a fridge and it arrived before we even unzipped our suitcase in the room, which also had a coffee maker, hair dryer, air-conditioning, iron, couch, table and seating area, awesome sliding doors to the adult pool and Alma at the adult pool bar, who does make the best tasting drinks. We always found something good to eat every meal, I did appreciate the selection of cheese at the breakfast buffet and lots of salads. I think they are smart to "recycle" food as some reviewers commented, this shows good use of resources and I hate to see too much food go to waste. Never got sick eating in all the buffets and restaurants through-out the week. LOVED the 1:00 p.m. check out, that extra hour makes a big difference in one last swim and shower before going to the airport on your last day. Lots of english TV channels for that late night movie in the room, awesome full length mirror in the bathroom, my husband loved the magnifying shaving mirror attached to the bathroom mirror, so would we go back, absolutely, this is a great place for a relaxing vacation.

Room Tip: Depending on your needs, chose one in a building close to whichever pool you will use the most, but the ground floor lanai rooms are awesome for couples especially near the adult pool for a quiet relaxing vacation.

I stayed at the holiday inn with a friend, we're both 19, it was pretty quiet at night but there were lots of young people staying here which made it a lot of fun. The rooms were awesome, they were alway very clean. The food was alright, we didnt enjoy the mexican buffet, the bbq buffet was vey good. We werent sure what to expect after reading all the reviews about this resort, but we were really happy with it and it was much better than what we expected. strongly advise this hotel. A restraunt called Morgans in San Jose Del Cabo was amazing, i would strongly recommend it. Overall, fantastic resort for what you pay for, i would much rather pay 1200 for ten nights than 2000 for 10 nights at a 5 star, we got an awesome deal

Took a quick trip to Los Cabos for 5 days with 2 days fishing. Haven't stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort since it's conversion from an InterContinental Brand. Service was still impeccable!!!

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the Estuary are quieter as they also overlook the adult pool
