This was the BEST excursion I've been on in Mexico. You do get dirty and there are cow pies, but if you aren't afraid of getting dirty, it's a BLAST. Suzette and her crew are so welcoming and informative. They truly love what they do and it shows. I would recommend this to ANYONE who wasn't worried about getting dirty and really wanted to see beautiful scenery, learn about the area OFF the resorts, and has a need for speed! :) While eating lunch I truly felt like I was at my aunt's house hangnig out with my family...this is how welcoming and nice Suzette and her crew was!!

Really fun time! Yes, we got dirty, but who cares! That was part of the fun. We had a small group, and Suzette was a fabulous guide. We drove very fast in some parts (on the big loop that was smooth and sandy) and had a wonderful trip. Suzette was very interesting to talk to as we sat around after the ride for the lunch and beer they provided (which was very good). The only downside was that it was a distance to go from the hotel and back (but a nice van picked us up and dropped us off), but it was well worth it! Glad we did it!

Great fun and a challenge. Our guide was wonderful and very informative. The swim in the cool water was a very refreshing and unique side to the tour. With the recent rain the area came alive with all sorts of butterflies, plants, etc. This was not just drive a buggy around a course ho-hum, it was a trail drive experience I won't forget! These 4-speed manuals get moving when you press the go-pedal! The shocks and seats are VERY comfortable. Even though there was a fair amount of bumps, etc., these buggies handle them very well and are pretty incredible. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent lunch and refreshments. Thank you all at Sierra Buggies for a great time!

Disgusted!!! We were picked up late from our resort, so we arrived late. We were given the warning: there are a few cow patties to avoid. Right, like a few every f'n feet. So disgusting each time we hit one (they were hard to avoid.) We were given the warning: don't drive through the watery puddles because it was made by cow urine! Gross! But there was no other mud to buggie through, which was disappointing. The trip was very slowly paced, with no real speed about 25mph allowed.
We had three break downs!!! One was just a flat tire, but all the machines were in pretty bad repair with bald tires. After the first break down our guide told us about how "horrible Chinese drivers are at driving the (manual) vehicles." We are pretty sure our trip was cut short, because it ended pretty close to the same time it was supposed to, even thought we spent a cumulative hour waiting for replacement vehicles. There was a walk we took to a pond that was full, which was pretty neat, but we felt that we spent way too much time there, and not riding. When we were riding, we seemed to be going on a circular trail loop, not really that interesting.
The "lunch" provided with it was bagged lunch meat sandwiches that we ate back at headquarters, in a cloud of flies. (but maybe that couldn't be helped, after all we were covered in cow $hit! and there was no water to wash our hands with!)
When we tried to get money back for our horrible trip, the owner accused us of blowing engines on the vehicles. Sorry, but it must have been the "horrible Chinese drivers."
