My husband and I visited La Panga because it was recommended to us from our hotel and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was really lovely with indoor and outdoor seating filled with flowering trees, murals, and lanterns as well as a live musician who plays for tips.
Our waiter was friendly and attentive, suggesting fresh dishes. We had the ceviche appetizer, the beet and goat cheese salad, the daily fish special with risotto, and an interesting and very tasty cinnamon and molasses poached pear and avocado ice cream for dessert. For our meal (including water and one drink each), we paid about $80 US, which seemed like a very good value. It was definitely the most relaxing dinner of our trip.
Visit the town a bit early to wander through the square-- there are a lot of galleries (plus plenty of touristy shops) and a pretty church across the street.
