We went to this restaurant based on other Tripadvisor reviews. The place was almost everything everyone said: very relaxing, great views of the beach and the surfers and the food was pretty good, but inconsistent.
We had the seafood tempura appetizer and it was 'to die for'. Everything was perfectly cooked and very tasty. I had the seafood skillet and my husband had the Ahi. Unfortunately, my skillet dish was over cooked as opposed to the appetizer. The Ahi was tasty, but also a little tough. I don't know if it's the custom in Mexico to not ask how your meal is, but the waiter never came back and asked, and when the busboy asked (as he was clearing the table), and my husband told him, there was no response from anyone, so either he didn't mention it or no one cared.
The atmosphere was great, but the food was inconsistent.
