Right in the heart of the renovated Historic Center and Art District - great location! We've been here numerous times over the years and have always found the atmosphere fun and the food delicious, with plenty of options, including interesting gluten-free choices.

Stopped here for a light bite and had some great fish tacos. Instead of flour tacos the sweet tasting very fresh fish was served on thinly sliced jicama giving it a lighter taste. We both thought they were fabulous! The bartender was friendly and engaging. Prices are very reasonable

My wife and I had dinner here tonight after asking our hotel concierge for recommendations on casual, reasonably priced Mexican - Salsita's was perfect! We had house margaritas, guacamole and chips, and split the fish and shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were the highlight - really good - but everything was yummy. I dock the restaurant a star because the bathrooms weren't great (small, not paper towels), but otherwise we loved it. Enjoy!

Our family has been to Cabo over a dozen times in the past years and Salsitas is always a must on our list. The atmosphere is great (although not the awe inspiring up on a cliff setting of many of the Cabo resort restaurants, this obviously is in town, more traditional architecture, indoors, etc) with very colorful walls and fun art. If you have a group of 6 or more, request the back room which is excellent! There's often a guitar player which enhances the atmosphere. Food is excellent, especially the shrimp jicama tacos (tacos on jicama instead of tortilla) which we always get. The tamarind (sweet) and hibiscus (sweet and sour) margaritas too are unmissable. Oscar and all the other waiters are excellent and speak good English. We are all quite heavy drinkers and still get out of Salsitas with a very reasonable bill. Altogether, this is one of the best spots in the area and not to be missed!

By the time we'd gotten to Salsitas, we'd had our fair share of shrimp tacos. We were probably saturated on shrimp tacos. But the ones at Salsitas were deliciously different: lightly-battered, generously portioned shrimp tacos on a sliced jicama "taco shell." Inventive and delicious, I'd go back for more. The atmosphere was lovely and quaint with brightly painted walls and locally-inspired artwork. The restaurant is situated near the arts district so, it makes for a lovely start (or end) to a gallery walk. Enjoy!
