This is a 32 unit time share part of the registry collection which sits above the Westin. This resort is amazing ! The adult infinity pool is incredible it sits 70 to 100 feet above the beach over looking the Sea of Cortez. There is a 2nd pool located at beach level which is just as impressive. The staff is terrific and by end of the 2nd day they will know your name and are there to meet every service needed to make your stay unbelievable. We had a 2 bedroom unit that had 3 baths , a great kitchen and wonder view of the Sea of Cortez.

As another poster stated this is not to be confused with Club Regina which sits below Westin.

I would highly recommend a rental car if like to explore Cabo and San Jose!

I have been to this resort before but continue to be amazed at how fantastic it is... it has THE BEST VIEW in all of Cabo, The condo's are very generous in size and ammenities are great, the staff and service levels are world class, and the location cant be beat... in the corridor between San Jose and Cabo....

This is a very quiet, spa like, resort with 32 units....If you are looking for a world class resort, in a fantastic location, I highly recommend this resort

To sum it up, the week couldn't have been better! The concierge was VERY helpful throughout the entire week. The staff was so friendly, they will know your name in just a few days! The adults only infinity pool is better than pictures right out of a magazine! My new wife and I recommend to anyone looking for a high class resort in Cabo to stay here, they will NOT disappoint you.

When you travel to Cabos you have to know what you want to do before choosing your hotel, that's just because distances are HUGE and taxis way too expensive.

We knew we wanted to go around, knew the room had a full kitchen and were aware about the distance between the hotel and the nearest grocery store, that's why we rented a car just after touched ground at the airport.

The Grand Regina is located on the corridor between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, closer to SJD, and on top of an awesome hill which warranties you'll have the best view no matter what's your room.

Rooms are spacious and fill with practical stuff and nice details. DVD player is also a home theater console provided with an AUX jack where you can plug your Ipod. Kitchen is full equipped and has a laundry machine (washer/dryer). There are also two Jacuzzis, one in the bathroom along with the shower and one outdoors located at the deck terrace. Washrooms have nice amenities and cleanliness is a standard all around.

The hotel has 3 pools, one exclusive for adults and two more near the beach, one for children and another with a pool bar. Snacks there are regular but drinks make it up. When you are a guest in the Grand you have access to Club Regina and Westin's pools and beach areas.

Service can't be better, someone is always around the corner waiting to fulfill your needs and special requirements, definitively will come back soon.

Ohhh... when in Cabos, don't miss El Chileno Beach, Habanero's Restaurant and Lorenzillo's.

I see there is confusion on this board regarding the Grand Regina. This 32 unit Fractional Timeshare has nothing to do with the Club Regina on the other side of the Westin. It seems everyone on this board thinks they are the same. The Club Regina is about 15 years old, and your typical 200 unit timeshare... It is very nice and you can use the Westin ammenities, but it has nothing to do with the Grand Regina

The Grand Regina is a high end private property that is truly unique. Sits on a cliff over looking the ocean and has an adult pool up top and a family pool on the beach.. there are only 32 units so it is not crowded... it is meant to be upscale and extrodinary...,and it is!

I just returned from a trip and it was fantastic.. the service, rooms, views, ammenities were fantastic... the food a bit expensive.. but overall.. this is a great place.

If you should go to any resort in the corridor... you will want to rent a car.. taxi's in cabo are just too expensive..

After reading reviews I wasn't sure what I was expecting from the grand regina but I was happy with the resort during our week long stay. There are 2 sections to the Regina-if possible stay in the newer side closer to the Westin. The 2 pools there are much nicer and not as populated. You are also closer to the Westin which has more pools and a bar right there. The resort is beautiful, built in a cliff, rooms were very large and cleaned every day. Each had their own patio with an ocean view. As for the time share people, we said no a few times and were left a lone, not in your face at all. TIP; the food and drinks in the frigs are not free. They don't tell you that until after you are charged. There is a Mega just a quick drive away. We ate 2 lunches on site and neither were very good. Every meal we ate in San Jose was FANTASTIC. Make sure to go to the Hangman, Morgan's, La Panga, Shooters and Sartina Cantina.
As for location, this is perfect if you plan on enjoying San Jose Cabo. Just a few minutes drive to wonderful food spots and the non commerical, quiet town. If you are looking for a place where you are closer to Cabo San Lucas and the night clubs, the Grand Regina will not be for you. If you are looking for a relaxing spot, with beautiful views and quick access to a great Mexico town, this is the place to be.

Cabo is a fabulous destination, and the Grand Regina is a fabulous place to stay! We’ve been in the area before – the GR is right next to the Westin Hotel. Feb is the perfect time of year – perfect weather, lots of whales.

The GR staff was very attentive without being bothersome. All the locals were friendly - and they still all want you to come see a time share SOMEWHERE.
Great grocery store nearby makes shopping for home cooking easy.
You do need a car to get around, but driving there is not too scary.
The front desk can arrange anything you want to do.

Overall – really super visit!
