This is the second time our family has stayed in the World Mark resort. The staff are very helpful and sincere about making things as good as they can be..to the point of coming up with a spare green pepper if we are short or going out of there way to fill a request. The resort itself is on the main thoroughfare that can easily get you to San Jose Cabo town square, Cabo itself, and also located to a large supermarket Each can be accessed using cab's (a bit on the spendy side) or the bus. We will be back next year.

We were a little concerned about going to the WorldMark in San Jose Del Cabo (we are not WorldMark owners), expecting a mediocre resort after hearing some comments.... however We were not disappointed.....and really enjoyed our stay.
Check in and check out was really smooth ...
WorldMark reps were very friendly and helpful (beer or margharita to refresh you), info about the resort and area, invitation to the presentation without being pushy.
Presentation - really low key and informative, friendly- wish we had the funds to buy more time shares - but not at pushy and all through our stay (2 weeks through an RCI exchange) they remained friendly and helpful.
Suite - typical worldmark -great... complete with FULL kitchen (stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, huge fridge and freezer). Plus washer and dryer... WOW. Furnishings were ok - and adequate - but bed was Queen not King. Also - bathroom amenities not provided - so bring your own shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc., Maid service - just once a week - but really you don`t need any more. No WIFI in room - but provided in lobby and computer area. Just like being at home and really comfortable.
Pool area was really quite small - and although there were always plenty of chairs available, it was annoyingly typical for some people to ``reserve`their spots with towels and belongings as early as 7.00 a.m.... the no reserve policy was not enforced.
A good activity area - lots of `water noodles, floating air mattress`etc to be borrowed, however activities were sporadic... Water Aerobics was supposed to be everyday at 12 noon (except Saturday) - sometimes it just didn`t happen - although ``bingo`was always every day.
This resort is small and compact -but so much to offer for a great holiday.. there are 3 BBQ sites ... (never seen these before in Mexico), plus there are no restrictions for taking your own beverages or food to the pool & beach area. ( a lot of resorts don`t allow this). The main restaurant ... Mama Mia, was undergoing renovations, but they put on a very good Mexican Fiesta Night. A lot more personalized than some that we have been to.
It is easy to get into town - for grocery shopping, the Mega store is just a 10 minute walk. To the main plaza - walk to the Mega store and then take the local bus- 8pesos- to the town square ... ( ideal for Shooters, or the church or the art and historic area, plus the Mercado Organico on Saturday, the town square is not to be missed - )
Although this was not a luxurious resort with all the amenities it was safe, comfortable and homely.
Definitely go back again.

Didn't really know what to expect, but was quickly impressed with the resort staff and the resort itself. The resort was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The concierge service is excellent and even offers complimentary margaritas. One of the staff even let us borrow her personal chairs to use when we went to a nearby swimmable beach. The city of San Jose del Cabo has as much to offer as Cabo San Lucas, which is only a short drive or bus ride away. Coral Baja is in a great location whether you just want to relax and soak up the Sun or enjoy the night life. It is also very close to the Mega supermarket, You can walk there but I would recommend returning via taxi if ou purchase much, The resort also offers free live band music a few nights a week. I really enjoyed the two huge hot tubs in the pool area. They were, however, very loud when the jets were running. I would definitely go back to this resort.

Place is clean, staff super friendly and helpful. Mahmamia restaurant pricey and limited menu. Centrally located just 20 minutes drive to Cabo St Lucas the marina. Very disappointed with the rental car small booth outside the resort called Fiesta Los Cabos rent a car next to the Subway. Definitely worth paying a few extra dollars and renting from Budget inside the resort. The cars are old, high mileage, too much fine print on there contracts. Extremely Mickey Mouse operation I might say. Too much to write just trust me, they have cheap prices but you don't even get half what you pay for and when returning vehicle manager 6'2 tall guy after I complained extremely disappointed he said I don't want to argue with you just sign here and go... great business Skins... The Resort is awesome been there twice and looking forward to going back next year...

Our view of the beach, each morning upon waking, and as we shared a night cap on the patio as we finished the day, was priceless. Not busy at the pool or beach. And the horseback ride from the resort on the beach was really enjoyable. Food at the restaurant was decent, and they even had free fish taco's one night, for the guests. My tip is that if your staying here, walk to the Mega supermarket and load up on your first day, and take a cab back. We also recommend eating at the Hangman for authentic cuisine.

Room Tip: Not sure if there are any rooms not facing the ocean, but wouldn't hurt to request room 401. I...

Hotel was great, good location and close to San Jose which has great restaurants.
Can walk on beach for miles. BUT BEWARE I was VERY disapointed with the vendor(s) that they bring in to the hotel to sell their wares. I purchased (what I thought) were 3 sterling silver items. I bargained and paid $120 US. I even checked the stamp and it said 925. I had a reaction to them - took to jeweller at home, the clasp was SS but the rest of the pieces were plated. I could have purchased these at WalMart for 1/2 the price. If they are going to sell plate, it should be disclosed by vendor. OR ASK!! which obviously I sholuld have done.

I've traveled a fair amount, but never stayed at a timeshare/resort like this. My friends and I stayed here after a 4 day off-road motorcycle race. We were tired, and filthy after the day racing. We wanted a clean bed, a hot shower, and a beer or ten. We got all of that.

I was a little nervous showing up to a ritzy resort as a group of off-roaders, loaded to the hilt with stuff in our trucks. Figured all the other guests would think we were riff raff.

Thankfully nobody from the property gave us any guff as we were working on the race bike and support bike in the parking lot. We basically stayed there for about 3 days, not really leaving the place other than to go to our race banquet at a neighboring resort.

Sleep was great, it was nice having a fridge to put our beer into, and just lounge by the pool.

The bar restaurant was good.

We mostly ate at the restaurant there by the pool, but did have lunch at the place right by the entrance.

If you're coming from the LaPaz side of town (airport) its a little tricky to get to. You have to drive past the resort and go up to the next exit and loop around. Don't try to go through the private entrance to a neighboring facility. That turn off is just past the resort, keep going another 400 yards to the actual exit.
