“El Peregrino and their new sister restaurant Kauil are the best in Cabo”

We just got back from our yearly visit to Cabo and our favorite restaurants. These are small family owned and operated restaurants. We ate at El Peregrino four times during our week and once at their new restaurant Kauil. They are both outstanding, nice atmosphere, super clean and the best staff in town. They make you feel welcome and remember you from a year ago. The food is delicious and the prices are extremely reasonable. We had recommended Kauil to some people we met around our resort pool and they came up to us the next day to rant and rave about how good the restaurant was. Everyone.....check them both out. You will not be disappointed.

One of my favourite restaurants in Cabo, it was great local food in an unpretentious environment. Drinks were super cheap, and food was really good. Recommend the lamb, it was amazing. Thanks to Eddie for great service.

We dined here during our last evening in Cabo. Glad we made reservation. We showed up at 7:30 pm and there was only a few other tables there. By 8:15pm all the tables were occupied with a mix of locals and tourist. That's how you know the place is good!

Service was great. We got seated right away. Our server was friendly and helpful. Food and drinks came out very quickly (not in a sense that they want you to leave quickly so they can seat other) but it seems their kitchen operations is very efficient. Other patrons at other patrons got their food quite quick too!

Food was great. We ordered octopus civiche as appetizer. It was one of the best we had in Cabo. I got octopus with rice. it was also one of the best, the flavor was unique and the portion was generous. Because I couldn't control myself with delicious civiche i ended up getting quite full half way through my entre. I packed the rest of it home and ate it the next morning for brunch. Oh and by the way. the price was very reasonable.

Location was great. A couple block away from the main drag.

This restaurant has been recommended several times and it was very good. The service was polite and helpful. Food was excellent. We will return for sure. I always like a place where there are more locals than tourist. It is a small restaurant so make sure to have reservations. We were there in the off season and by 8 PM all tables were occupied. As others have said, don't miss the flan. The restaurant can be a little loud, but not bad. it was from everyone fully enjoying themselves. Very reasonably priced

Our expectations were low. When we got there, the place was cute and very casual. We ordered their special steak for two that comes with Malbec. Great price with good food and service. Their margaritas are delish especially the hibiscus blended margarita. It’s BOGO (buy one get one free) which was even sweeter! Definitely come here for the delicious steaks, margaritas and good service. Parking is a bit hard to find, but if u come early before 6:30, you won’t run into a problem. We’d love to come back!
