We had a group of 8, and we were never without a drink in hand; service staff was attentive, fun during the activity hours, and food was awesome/prompt. We love the grilled fish tacos! Octavio and Eber put up with us calling their name every hour for a refill. : ) give them a $10 or $20 bill up front and it'll feel like your personal server. They were awesome! Spa services were AMAZING!! Did facial, body exfoliation, body wrap, massage. Fitness room was an added bonus. The view from room was awesome and the natural decor of the resort instantly relaxes you. We're definitely going back.

While this resort is 30 minutes from the town of Los Cabos, it is a quiet retreat from all the activities of the area. The beach is not swimmable due to the extreme undertow. It is also difficult to walk as it is severely sloped. The positive is the sushi restaurant, and the breakfasts and lunches. There are 3 sister resorts, the Sunset Beach, Rose and Costa Blanco. We found the best restaurants to be Finelli's at Rosé, and La Frida at Sunset Beach (a$20 pp surcharge to the all inclusive package). As we we're playing several rounds of golf in the area, we needed a car, but the resort will shuttle you between the 4 properties.

One word describes our recent Jan/14 visit to Pacifica---outstanding. Absolutely top quality accommodation, staff, food and overall facility. If you want a better view of the ocean, ask for a room 3rd floor or up near the south end of Building B----or better yet---ocean front in Building A. Beautiful, warm, sunny days but evenings can be quite cool---desert climate. You may want a warmer jacket. Ocean is non-swimmable but the constant huge waves are amazing---at least to land-locked Prairie folk like ourselves. Quick access to neighboring, massive sister resort by free shuttle. Well worth visiting there, especially their Sky Pool. One thing to be aware of---when we went for a second visit to the Sky Pool, it was closed for the day as it was booked for a wedding. Maybe if one asked at Pacifica front desk, they would phone over to make sure the Sky Pool was open. Staff in both places just great; service always professional and prompt and not once did we feel pressured to give tips, but their personal living conditions are challenging so even a 10 or 20 peso tip helps them out. A couple of evenings in a week a band plays until about 10:30 p.m. Otherwise there is no nightly entertainment at the Pacifica. Generally QUIET---just great if that's what you like. No pressure regarding time shares and no hawkers along the beachfront. Overall, a great place for a week's vacation. We give it top marks!

Room Tip: Upper floors give better view of the ocean. Buildings A and B closest to shoreline. Building A has o...

We were here for 7 nights and had the most relaxing time. The setting and the staff are amazing. The all-inclusive option was great for us as it covered the majority of our costs and made everything even more care-free.

We loved that it was adults only, and that you had the flexibility to visit other Pueblo Bonita properties for some variety.

Room Tip: think about it you would like a view of sunrise, or sunset. higher floors have great views.

The Pacifica is probably the most beautiful and well kept hotel I have ever stayed in. From the front lobby, to the room, to the stunning outdoor spaces and the friendly staff, every detail was taken care.
That being said, I doubt we would ever stay there again.
My boyfriend and I are 30 and 33. We don't have any children and really enjoy the quiet that an 18+ resort can give you. We're past the crazy all day all night partying atmosphere, and were looking forward to a relaxing week together. That being said, this Pacifica was so quiet, we found ourselves getting bored.
There is no nighttime entertainment, at all. There are some daily activities, but most are early morning exercise classes, or take place in the activity center, away from the pool.
Our first night we ended up going back to the room and playing scrabble. Not exactly what I expected to be doing on holidays.
I felt that I was at the perfect resort for my parents. They want a nice room and deck where they can read and sleep late. A nice pool, good food and drinks. Or, a group of couples would also enjoy themselves, making their own entertainment.
There is the opportunity to go to any other of the sister resorts and enjoy the entertainment there, and there is even free transportation to and from. But I didn't want to have such a rigid schedule or worry about making sure we make the last shuttle at 1030pm. I would rather stay at one of the other resorts.

Pros:
No conversion kits for any electrical items you bring needed - it's the standard plugs you'd find in Canada and the US.
Potable water throughout hotel. Not that I drank out of the taps, but no fears brushing my teeth or taking a shower
Pillow menu!
24 room service. Try the tortilla soup or Cinco de Mayo pizza
No aggressive Mexican salespeople on the beach.
Fantastic beef. I've never had such tender beef in Mexico before - delish menu at Siempre.

Cons
We got a room with 2 double beds instead of one king. We didn't ask for a change of rooms or complain, but it would have been nice as a couple to share a king bed.
Time share pitch at check in - the folks who give you you're wristband if you are all inclusive are going to try and wheel and deal you into a presentation. Although I did hear from some people who went that it did only take 90 mins as promised, including breakfast.
No bacon at the breakfast buffet

Room Tip: You could see the ocean from anywhere. Higher up would get you a better one, but we were very happy...

We had a wonderful trip and wonderful stay at the Pacifica. It was very warm and welcoming. The staff are fantastic and made us feel at home. Marco was always there to greet us and help us any way he could. You could not have better staff. We will be telling our friends to stay here and we would stay here many more times.

Room Tip: From what we saw they are all great rooms with a great view.

We were here for 2 enjoyable weeks and are coming home tanned and fit. Our room had a beautiful view and was clean and fresh. The standout at this resort for us was the fitness center, specifically the group fitness classes. I discovered Alex, the instructor and fitness center manager after watching him teach a couple boot camp classes to other guests. The classes are $15 and are limited in size so you will get personal attention. I took boot camp and total conditioning classes for 7 days and already notice an imprvement in my fitness level. I workout every day so am in shape but I left the classes soaking wet and really challenged and learned new techniques to take home. I also had the opportunity to have some of these classes as private because I was the only guest signed up and Alex gave me a complete personal training experience for the class price of inly $15! Make your vacation a healthy one and sign up for these classes! The gym facilities are great too for $17 per day but personally, the classes are a better value.
