Norman Diego's The Mexican Inn

This little gem is the perfect place for relaxation and comfort. Located in the heart of Cabo, three blocks away from the main strip (restaurants, nightlife, and shops). You will be greeted by Don Miguel, the hotel manager. He has the ability to make you feel very much at home and is warm enough to offer suggestions, tequila and good vibes. The inn has fewer than 10 rooms, with a central garden and beautiful gazebo and water fountain. Our room was decorated with traditional Mexican crafts with a very cozy feel. The staff was friendly and prepared us the most delectable meals in addition to the delicious breakfast. Our complimentary breakfast consisted of yogurt covered melon and papaya with sprinkled oats, coffee and orange juice, and tasty pan dulce. We originally planned to stay one night and ended up staying 4 nights. We highly recommend this place if you like a homelike feel, quaint, artsy, relaxing, comfortable place without the resort prices. We loved our experience so much that we plan to come back next year!

This small "bed and breakfast" (which also bills itself as an INN as well as a hostel) is a real jewel in Cabo. Only ten minutes up from the dance clubs and a few more minutes to the marina, but in a fairly quiet neighborhood with a style and amenities that will relax and rest your travel bones. The manager Miguel will greet you warmly, take you to your nice room, and likely offer you a glass of wine or tequila upon arrival. The little courtyard in the center with it's splashing fountain adds a comforting touch and the decor and color of the place will make you happy. Don't miss this place if you want a piece of warmth, a piece of home, and an escape from the usual hotel rat-race.

Except for some barking dogs at night and one particularly noisy stretch on a Friday night we found this place to be very relaxing. The place was artfully decorated with care and attention to detail and lots of interesting ascetically pleasing views within the intimate garden space. The breakfast was nicely served fruit and yoghurt although we could have ordered other things from the menu. For a place within walking distance of everything in downtown Cabo San Lucas it was an outstanding value for the price, about $65. The owner, Senor Diego, gave us a parting gift of a small fruit sugar loaf that we enjoyed in small slices for the rest of our trip.

This is a wonderful place to stay, family owned and simple but clean. Make sure you have breakfast there, it is very good and inexpensive. Seth is the english language speaker , but the other family members do not speak english. It is easy to access downtown Cabo by walking from here. No need for an alarm clock, the rooster will wake you up.

I went to Cabo for the first time and I was travelling alone. I didn't want to stay in middle of the party madness or at one of the very expensive resorts. I was thrilled to find this charming, peaceful, perfect little B&B! The staff was very friendly and welcoming and gave me many recommendations of where to go. (The first night they suggested a wonderful restaurant named Maria Corona--great food with traditional mariachi music). The rooms were adorable and clean, the patio was beautiful (shaded and overflowing with flowers) and the location was within walking distance of everything in Cabo. In addition, they offered a traditional Mexican breakfast each morning that was delicious and a perfect way to start my day. I couldn't have asked for a better first-time Cabo experience!

We stayed at the Mexican Inn for 3 nights and we loved it. It was very clean and beautiful. If you like easygoing nice B&B you are going to love this one. It 3 blocks walking away from where all the action happens so it is a perfect base to discover Cabo San Lucas & all the surroundings. The hotel has only a few rooms and all of the surround a beautiful patio with a fountain where the free breakfast is served. If i return to Cabo I would stay there again for sure.

Room Tip: The room called FRIDA has beautiful paintings & decor of Frida Khalo. If you can, ask for this r...

Its crazy that after such a nice trip we get bombarded by our daily routines. This review is based on or Christmas week stay and our apologies for taking long. The Mexican Inn set the stage to a great trip in Cabos. The prime plus of staying here was that it was close to all major attraction, the Marina, Squid Roe, Cabo Wabo, and could easily walk to Medano beach. The place itself was nice considering the budget we were at. Be warned the location on Google maps is wrong and should follow the written directions given. We got lost for a bit. The inside has a fountain and a luscious green dining area. Breakfast with pan dulce, fruit and yogurt, juice, and coffee helped us to start our adventures for the day. The rooms had iconic Mexican decor. A recommendation would be that they add screens to the windows instead of a canopy of a mosquito net. The entrance was also gated and there was always someone to keep the watch during business hours. To contradict some reviews we saw, there is hot water. The older gentleman that checks you in was nice, he even offered us some ceviche that we missed out on. And the lady who serves your meals and cleans the rooms each day was sweet. I think overall it was simple and welcoming which was what we wanted.
