“You have to LOVE IT!”

We have vacationed in Cabo for the last 10-15 years, and we love it at Fiesta Americana Cabo! All the staff are friendly and professional, the amenities are outstanding, and the beauty of the resort continues to amaze my wife and me. From relaxing on the balcony and seeing all of God's beauty and hearing the waves....to walks on the beach and relaxing on the beach or by the beautiful pools....all these experiences create amazing memories!

This was my family's second visit to the Fiesta Americana and third visit to Cabo. The people at the hotel do a fanatastc job. Everyone you meet is extremely friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Great service, beautiful pools and grounds, and good food. Overall it is a very nice resort. If I mentioned anything for improvement, the rooms are a bit lacking. Not bad at all but not quite as nice as the rest of the resort. The staff really gets to know you. And it's a great location to get into town. We would definitely return.

My daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend in July. Overall, the resort is beautiful. The staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. Timeshare salespeople weren't very aggressive at all (unlike the people at the airport - watch out for those!). The beach is beautiful, but not really swimmable, though some folks were snorkeling, all my daughter and I did was jump some waves. We had the breakfast buffet every morning, which, as buffets go, wasn't bad.
I had a signature massage at the spa, which was honestly the best massage I've ever had, and I've had a lot of massages. Definitely spring for this.
The only negative I have for this place is the lack of wifi. They say it's free, and resort-wide but while it is free, resort-wide it is not! And while I was on vacation I actually needed to do some work, which was impossible. So just know that.
Overall, great time.

It was a little sketchy when we checked in..I had booked all inclusive through Hot wire come to find out they had my son as 11 instead of 14...therefore the price I paid when i booked was not enough so we had to pay an extra 250 dollars for my sons all inclusive..not very happy about that...but wasn't hotels fault i will blame hot wire for that one....the drinks, service, rooms, pool, food at this resort are all AWESOME...could stand a little more organized activities..but overall was a great stay and will definitely stay here again....Beach is not swim able..but water was so chilly we really didn't want to swim in ocean....Luis and Daniel at swim-up bar are awesome...Mara and Renzo at the Peninsula Restaurant are very accommodating....Beautiful Resort...the breakfast buffet was lacking compared to the other all inclusive resorts we have been to..same menu everyday and night in all the restaurants..do wish they would change that up a bit

Room Tip: we stayed in room 432 overlooking swim up bar pool and firepit....beautiful ocean view

My husband and I stayed here last March. Loved it so much, we're going back in November. The staff is wonderful. The pools are beautiful. There are kids at this resort so try to find a pool where there aren't any/many if the only sound you really want to hear is that of the ocean... Speaking of which, the beach is not bad -- small, but nice! The spa is awesome and the gym never very crowded. The restaurants on site are pricey -- good, but pricey. If offered the all-inclusive package -- TAKE IT! Amazing value! Definitely recommend renting a car -- if you turn left out of the resort, you have Cabo and lots of fun, inexpensive restaurants (and nice ones too) & more of the "party vibe". If you turn right out of the resort, you have San Jose del Cabo -- more mellow & a little nicer vibe than Cabo, with lots of fun spots to eat, drink, shop, etc...

My family & I just returned from a week long stay and from the moment of arrival we were quite pleased. The "Free" Valet parking was much appreciated, lobby was inviting, staff was very friendly, room was very clean, property was nice and relaxing and easy to navigate. I would highly recommend you upgrade to the "Grand Club" option as it provides a step up in ammenities such as a private pool, daily contenitenal breakfast, lunch snacks and nightly appetizers along with an open bar from 5pm untill 8 pm. All of which adds great value to your stay. Beach can be a bit rough to navigate any smimming or snorkeling but the pools are clean and water is a perfect temp. Lounge chairs are plentiful with umbrellas and or cabanas poolside or on the beach. Only 10 min from Cabo with shopping nearby. (Sams/ Walmart / Costco) & approx 30 min from the airport.

Be sure to rent a car as taxi service mounts up and distance from the airport and to Cabo or shopping are of some distance. There are a wide range of restaurants surrounding the boardwalk to the Marina and parking is easy to locate. I would suggest the parking garage at the mall in front of the Marina. It only costs 15 pesos and is good for all day. Be sure to get your ticket stamped at any number of machines in the mall that take only pecos. Only caution is not to get ticket stamped untill you are ready to leave as once it is stamped you only have 50 minutes to exit the garage.

Water taxis are accessible at the marina at most gates all of which have a letter labled at the top. Gate "D" was used for most excursions we went on and it's just $3.00 per person. A good idea if you want a shortcut around the boardwalk. I would not suggest the Glassbottom boats unless you just want a cheap boatride. If you book the Sunsut cruise there are 2 managed by the same company one is a catamaran the other is an old pirate style sailboat. We were booked on the sailboat and at first was disappointed but the fajita dinner was nice and the rustic voyage was well managed.

Most eateries had specials and were welcoming guests with inticed offers as you walked by them. Be aware this is a BIG TIME SHARE area and you will be approached from the airport to the street and even where you stay most likley. If you so choose to take the time to listen to the pitch the local tourist consultant will offer you discounted excursions and or freebies that can be af great value. I attended 2 such sales pitches of which none were the 75 minute promise length. However with that said when the word NO was given all that was promised panned out to our benefit. It was nice to get a look at other places such as the Solimar or Playa del Arco. But the sales pitch will continue untill you leave the property with not so much pressure as just a different face and offer. Once you gather your inticements you will be approached one last time from a local person to look at another property so the cycle continues unless you say NO.

Room Tip: pick the "GRAND CLUB" option

My wife and I stayed at the Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos Golf & Spa. This is a first rate hotel. The rooms are roomy and offer a nice view of the ocean. You will get a nicer view if you request the 5th or 6th floors. The hotel offers evening turn down service which is a nice touch usually found in 4.5 or 5 star hotels. The hotel offers one of the best breakfast buffets ever. Selections of everything. A great omelet bar and to my surprise, a self serve champagne, bloody mary and mimosa bar. They have several swimming pools and a very nice beach. Grab a palapa on the beach ( one of the largest palapas I have ever seen ). If you plan to travel to Cabo San Lucas for dinners or sightseeing, I recommend that you rent a car. The hotel is away from the main street and not easily accessible by foot. Transportation to the city and airport is somewhat pricy and a car rental can be easily justified. Overall .. we were very pleased with our choice and will recommend this hotel to others.

Room Tip: For a nicer ocean view, ask for a room on the 5th or 6th floor.
