The pool is nice and the patio is a good place to eat. But this hotel is on the main highway and you will hear the traffic all the time. You will need to take a cab to go anywhere. The beach is about 2 miles away. There is NOWHERE else to eat but the hotel. The menu needs to be updated, not enough good Mexican food. The maid walked in without knocking at a REAL bad time. You are only allowed one bottle of water per room per night; don't bother asking for more, you will be charged.

Better to book closer to the beach or downtown. The shuttle service was good but the high prices for food make up for any discount in hotel room charges.

  • Liked — The shuttle service to the hotel.
  • Disliked — The prices for food at the hotel.

The hotel is cute, staff is very friendly, pool is rather nice but the Jacuzzi was not working. Now the bed, this is the hardest bed I have ever slept on. I have been a flight attendant for over 11 years and I have been to hundreds of hotels and this mattress was definately something to write about. I felt that I had to warn people
about the mattress. The location is another issue. There is NO shopping, No Beach, NO Food in walking distance. However, if you wanna just relax and don't mind driving you wont be disappointed. You get what you pay for. A cute hotel NOT A BEACH RESORT. This hotel
is definately for someone on BUSINESS with their own transportation or just looking to layout by a pretty pool.

  • Liked — I liked the cozy feel of it.
  • Disliked — Mattress and location

We were here for a family vacation in Jan/Feb,2007.It was the worst experience of our lives. We have three children and this is not the place to go.I read all of the reviews, and thought oh it can't be that bad.....boy was I wrong.First they lost our reservations, second we were to have two rooms side by side(with 5 of us)they were not side by side.Third the food was awful, the list does go on $25.00 for 4 bottled water and 4 cans of coke.Hard beds ,rude people. We were to stay there for two weeks we switched after only two nights to Tesoro.Tesoro was amazing. Please do not stay here you will be very dissapointed.

This Hotel was a pleasure to book. The hotel staff were some of the most courteous. The food was interestingly good.. Their Hamburger was terrific! The grilled cheese was very interesting, and their sauces were Outstanding. The presentation was decidedly thought out.
The beds are... yes. they are HARD. What are they thinking! Visitors keep telling them the same thing!
The rooms are clean and full of the amenities you'd expect from a first class hotel.
Go here to same lots of money on room rate. The hotel is not near shopping or restaurants for walking.. but nothing is really.
$20-30 cab ride to market in the city. Any hotel would require a taxi ride. I liked the fact that I saved money. The pool was perfect and the Patio with bar and restaurant is great.

We should have known this was one of those too good to be true deals. First, they lost our reservations. Thank goodness I printed out several copies of the confirmation. We were told that the manager would get back to us within the hour. Did they? NOPE! We did not find out until the morning we checked out that they had finally found them. We had prepaid or else we would have moved to another hotel.
Second, beds are not only hard, they are like sleeping on concrete! Two tiny pillows, no extra pillows and no extra blankets.
Third, A/C was super noisy and did not work very well.
Fourth, we had to styrofoam cups instead of glass and then never replaced them the whole time we were there!
Fifth, the bathroom stank. I mean, badly. The windows were open in there when we arrived. For a reason it turns out!
Sixth, the door lock had been busted open at some point. I actually had to screw the plate back in so we could lock the door.
Seventh, the pool is freezing cold and the hot tub had this nasty, oily sheen to it. We never saw them clean either one. And I am a very early riser and have seen a lot of pools and hot tubs cleaned all over the world.
Eight, the food was awful! I have never had a worst sandwhich in my life and my husbands food was bland. To add insult to injury, it was very expensive.
Ninth, this hotel is located right on Highway 1. That means, lots of traffic noise. It starts pretty early in the morning and goes far into the night. Do not expect a great nights sleep.
And, last but not least, the staff. With the exception of a waiter, everyone was very rude. When asked a simple question you were lucky if you got a shrug. The housekeeping staff did a very poor job on our room as well.
There are many wonderful hotels and Inns in the Cabo region. Staying here is a waste of time and money.

The rooms were clean but my parents had a refrigerator and a TV remote - my sister and I did not have either. Also, the pool was like glacier runoff and the hot tub was only hot if you asked the front desk to turn it on. At that point it usually got tepid enough for all the kids to want to get it (the pool was even too cold for them.) It certainly wasn't the resort I was hoping it would be by checking out their website.

  • Liked — It was clean.
  • Disliked — The cold hot tub, the freezing pool, the watered down drinks.
  • Tips/Secrets — Pick a hotel actually on the beach.

Clean and comfortable. Rates can't be beat. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Will require a walk or a short taxi ride to get to the ACTION, but we didn't consider it a problem.
