Description: The Bistro serves breakfast from 6 a.m. daily featuring fresh strawberry waffles, huevos rancheros and our now-famous Eggs Pueblo Bonito. For lunch and dinner there is excellent thin pizza from the brick oven, a variety of Mexican food, awesome sushi, soups, chili & chowder, creative salads, sandwiches, pastas, main courses and desserts until 10 p.m. To beat the heat, drink a homemade Mexican Agua Fresca with your meal. A night-owl menu is available from 10 pm until 6 am. No reservations.

Food at the bistro is very good, the sushi and pizza are great as is aracharra steak and shrimp. For breakfast the breakfast burritos and eggs Benedict are very good. Don't be in a hurry as service is slow. Reservations are needed as other options to eat at resort. Are limited.

Best value, hands down. This was one of our favorite places to eat and we ate here during the majority of our stay. The restaurant staff was friendly, the food was reasonably priced and the view on the terrace was awesome. One morning, we saw whales passing by in the Pacific. It was an amazing experience.

We choose the deluxe meal plan at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. This included breakfast, lunch, or dinner at The Bistro. We ate breakfast there twice, lunch twice, and one night for dinner. Each meal was very good. This is no ordinary all-inclusive restaurant as the food is very good and made to order. You can sit inside for the A/C or choose the balcony with an excellent view of The Pacific. Roberto, the manager, was extremely friendly and greeted us every time we were there. He made sure everything was good each time and expressed his gratitude of us coming in to The Bistro. Marco was, by far, our favorite server. There was a very uncommon rainstorm for 4 hours on our last day. We sat inside The Bistro eating and drinking. Marco would bring cocktails for us to try and visited with us as the restaurant was somewhat slow. He made sure we were having fun despite the rain. I would strongly recommend The Bistro to anyone visiting.

One thing to add: do not go in for breakfast or lunch on a time crunch. While the service and food are very good don't expect to go in, eat, and be out for a spa appointment in 20 minutes. You're on vacation to relax not rush. We were in and out most breakfast and lunches in 35 minutes. We saw some patrons complaining about how long it took to eat because they did have an appointment to get to. If you're in a rush like that either eat at the buffet or ask for you check immediately as your food arrives.

My wife and I will definitely be back. Thanks Roberto, Marco, and the rest of The Bistro team.

Food was excellent and service was better than average. Could have done without the invitation to a timeshare presentation during my breakfast

This restaurant offers breathtaking ocean views and you can see the whole resort from the balcony, everyone wears a smile and you are treated with love and respect. You can hear the waves crashing into the shore, a beautiful relaxing sound. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the staff works very hard to please you. We recommend the Sea Bass with lemon sauce on top of baby Spanish, the Pork Carnitas, cocoanut shrimp, French onion soup , tortilla soup and the baby spinach salad. We were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary and picked this place to celebrate. Our waiter Jesus waited on us, and he remembered waiting on us last year when we celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary, he even remembered the table he served us at in 2012. He pointed out the moon, Mars and Venus in the night sky. The manager Guillermo Villa treated us like a king and a queen, he remembered us from our 2012 trip, he wrote on our plate with chocolate welcome back and happy anniversary, the manager even sent a special surprise to our room at his cost. We recommend this restaurant, a smile can brighten the world and you receive smiles from the whole staff.
