We haven't been back since we purchased our timeshare seven years ago. We were pleasantly surprised to see the grounds are still well-maintained. We were there during the World Cup games and watched the competition by the pool bars. The pools with the exception of the sky pool need some upgrading. A TV was missing and I think they still had old TVs. And one was precariously hanging.

Food - tried the Sushi restaurant and the service was slow, the food was bland & skimpy for the price...not a fan. Food was very expensive and the rate for all inclusive was not worth it for the quality of the food.

Pool chairs and loungers - get there early for better availability.

Rooms - nicely maintained w/great views. We stayed in Bldg 19 closer to the Sky Pool.

Shuttle Cars - always available.

Check the Concierge Desk for the Taxi Share. Taxis to downtown were approx $12-14 o/w.

We are here now, while the resort is still beautiful, there are a lot of issues. It would seem resort is not properly staffed and this is the most occupied I've seen it. What was once what stood out; it's incomparable customer service no longer seems to matter to the general manager or the decision makers! We arrived, check in lines were busy, ok we got a beautiful room with an amazing view. 1st thing - kitchen counter full of little spiders or ants. Our porter was not concerned. Next there was no electricity, we called and they came to fix it but never sent person with bug spray. That night was The Carribean themed beach party: reservations required. After calling numerous numbers that either weren't answered or we were transferred I learned it was all booked and without a reservation couldn't attend. Again we just arrived! Perhaps an email with event list and ability to reserve pre arrival??
Anyhow we decided not to unpack and have dinner 1st. Shuttle service was awful. We waited approx 45min in a hot and humid area at main pool with many others, returning to our room drenched decided to shower and No Towels. Called and we were asked how many we needed. I then discovered no soap in either bath, called back again asked how many? My husband replied " we are in an executive suite bring whatever is supposed to be here" All in our first night. Next morning right at 7 I call for room service. Almost impossible to get thru or have someone answer, finally order only to get called in 10min to tell me they ran out of Orange Juice..... I can go on and on! Staff is trying but only so much they can do with such a limited staff, im sure they are as frustrated as the guest. Unfortunately they bare the brunt of customer complaints and weve been hearing them plenty. I hope staffing gets addressed and the enjoyment of guests soon matter again

The view from our condo was absolutely fantastic. A full covered veranda offered the opportunity to have coffee in the morning & do some whale watching. Our accommodations were spacious, nicely appointed, & clean. We did cook a little in the full sized kitchen, but being on vacation...we splurged & went out to dinner most of the time. The golf cart taxi's that take you around the grounds are a relief when you are tired of hiking the steep mountainside landscape. We loved all the pools. The infinity pool at the top of the complex is great for relaxing. The plants and landscaping are beautiful & well maintained. All the staff were friendly & attentive. It didn't matter to us that the property was not within walking distance to downtown, because we had rented a car so we could explore the area. We weren't all-inclusive and still found the vacation to be very affordable.

So I stayed at the hotel with my family and basically fell in love with the view. Gorgeous plants and colors everywhere. A major problem though is the distance from downtown and basically everything else here. But there is a shuttle that does require appointments as well as almost all the restaurants. The food is different than I was used to being from the United states but very enjoyable. The service at restaurants is slow but the pool side waiters are the BEST! Especially Erick he came up with drinks to try and catered to every need. The golf carts used to travel through out the resorts were fun but bumpy as the drivers are almost too used the the roads and speed everywhere. All in all the hotel is good for the price paid. I recommend going all inclusive.

We spent another two weeks at PBSB from June 14 to June 28th. We are owners and I would like to encourage those who have not had the pleasure to stay here to read up about PBSB.
The resort is on the Pacific Ocean but the beach is beautiful to walk but the ocean is not swimmable due to the undertow. I am not an ocean person, but I love the beach so this resort is perfect for us because you can enjoy the view without having to deal with any vendors. Secondly this resort is huge.....it is built into the side of the mountain and all rooms have ocean views. That being said, it is beautiful because no cars are allowed to access any area except the lobby area. So, the golf carts which transport you from place to place are the only means of transportation except to walk. I love that because there are no parking lots to view. The rooms themselves are lovely. We have a two bedroom presidential. It has a huge master suite with separate shower and jacuzzi and also a private balcony. The second bedroom which is located on the opposite side features two queen size beds plus bathroom and balcony. The middle are consists of a fully equipped kitchen,(no stove) dining room, living room and balcony. Finally, the service continues to be excellent. For the first week, we ate in town. The second week we
decided to do all-inclusive. Remember the golden rule......do unto others as you would like them to do unto you. If you treat your servers with respect, they too will treat you well. I would like to thank the front desk supervisor who was very helpful to us when my husband got sick with chest pains. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Don't hesitate to book your next trip at PBSB. You will enjoy it.

My wife and I had the best time in Cabo on our 16 year anniversary . One of the reasons was the great service we received at the hotel. The property was beautiful and the service we received was top notch. The one person who stood out the most was Angel Fidel Lopez. What great service he gave us. Never had to wait for him. He was always around to serve us. He was one of many reasons we will choose this as our vacation spot again.

Please let the hotel know that Angel Lopez needs positive recognition.

Room Tip: Get a room with a hot tub, It made our trip.

There are some downsides to this hotel. Not being able to swim on the beach. The distance from downtown Cabo San Lucas. The golf carts you have to take. But you simply cannot deny the beauty of the hotel. It is unique in its kind. It is a small town with everything you could want/need. Look at the view. Bathe in the pools. Delight in the peace of each villa.
