Nice resort, but we feel pretty burned by the "all inclusive" plan. We stayed seven days and were charged for seven days of the all inclusive plan. On our last day, we had a flight out at 5:30 - and were told by the front desk that we were covered by the plan for the day, so we spent the day at the Sky Pool, and ordered drinks and food per usual. Then at around 2:00 we were told by the staff that that the "all inclusive" plan ends at 11 on your last day, so that we had to pay for our meals. That means you need to eat about $80 worth of food and drink for breakfast on your last day in order for the plan to make sense.

Left a bad taste in our mouth on our last day in Cabo, after a week of enjoyment, as well as gracious tipping on top of the all inclusive fee.

We stayed in building 27 from Christmas Eve until New Year's Eve, room 2754 to be exact and what a view!!! Everything about the resort was wonderful. We chose the all-inclusive option and were very glad we did as it gave us the opportunity to try any food and or beverage we desired. The food was excellent and the service was among the best of all the resorts we have stayed in. Kudo's to Omar at the pool (2011 Employee of the Year!) and to Juan J at La Nao. They were the best!

We enjoyed taking the golf carts around the resort and always gave the drivers a dollar or two as they were always pleasant and very helpful.

We arrived at Pueblo Bonito - Sunset Beach in June (sorry for the delay in rating the resort). My wife, and another couple we travel with frequently, arrived for a one week's stay. After a fairly long ride from the airport, we got our first view of the resort and were immediately impressed.

Of all the resorts in which we've stayed, this resort is the most opulent and well maintained. Our rooms were near the top of the hill and the views of the rest of the resort and beach were spectacular. Even though we were far removed from the ocean front, we could hear the sound of the pounding surf every time we opened our balcony door.

The rooms were incredibly spacious and very nicely appointed and I can still smell the sandalwood soaps / shampoos that were provided.

The restaurants served outstanding food, and though a bit pricey, the overall experience was excellent.

There are many pools on this resort and Happy Hour began early and moved from pool to pool. The infinity pool at the very top of the resort was tremendous. Not only was it huge, but the view of the beach and ocean was gorgeous.

You definitely want to bring hiking shoes if you're going to walk to your rooms as the resort is built into the side of a fairly steep hill, but if you don't want to hike, they provide a continuing circuit of golf carts that make the trip much easier.

Overall, this is my favorite Summer destination in the past 10 years ... maybe longer.

Room Tip: If you want a view, ask for rooms as high up the side of the hill as you can. Be sure to ask for a...

A really nice spot, can only manage what it was like before it went "downhill".
Only two complaints so far:
1) Internet is not free property wide. Hey management, this is 2012. Pacifica has it property wide.
2) Minor complaint that the only restaurant open on New Year's without a big price adder is the bistro. Everything else requires an extra cost to just go and dine. We will be going into town as a result.

LOTS of positive stuff to say, and overall, I would say don't hesitate to check this place out.
We will write a comprehensive review later, but it is interesting to note it has slipped from #11 a month ago to #13 now ......

We stayed for a week the first of November. Spent the first half on top in building 22, beautiful room and gorgeous views but found the noise from the main buildings below a little much. Asked for a switch to another room in building 5 much closer to the beach. This room was much more quiet and the location more to our liking. Furnishings a little dated compared to the first but still very nice and comfortable. We only took the shuttle when checking in and out with the suitcases. We are mid 50's in reasonably good shape. This was our way to walk off some of the food which we found quite good. You must go to Freida's! Cheap no but reasonable for the quanlity. No swimming beach but lovely pools. We took the shuttle in to town most days, its a 10-15 minute walk into town from their other resort which is right on the beach. Everyone at the resort is very friendly and accommodating, but wants to sell you a time share.

Huge resort, just outside of Cabo, but not structured like most major resorts. Spread out over a rolling hill so that it spreads people out among multiple pools and restaurants, it doesn't feel like like more than a medium-sized villa. Decent food, excellent service, easy trips down into Cabo. One tip: the shuttle to the sister resort in Cabo fills up and you'll need a reservation. Same goes for the Frida restaurant.

Room Tip: We were down on the beach in the 300 building, which was great - could walk right out the door and o...
