“Don't let the ambience fool you”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2013

It's one of those restaurants you may pass by at first glance. Don't walk on by. It's probably one of the best deals in Cabo. Fish so fresh, the waiter actually brought it out for us to inspect when we asked if he had red snapper today. My brother had been there several times before and knew to ask. Choice of fried or grilled with garlic. We chose the latter and it was melt in your mouth delicious. The coconut shrimp was crisp with real coconut, not a batter. Whole tab--two meals & a beer was $32. Chips, homemade salsa was free. Heard they serve great b'fast too in the $3-$5 range. Only downside were the several hopeful strolling guitar players with bad voices asking for your requests. Open 7am-10. Zaragoza Y ninos heroes 23410

“Off the Main Street”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2013

We stopped in this restaurant that is off the beaten path and off the main street to get a taste of authentic Cabo San Lucas. We were not disappointed! The sea food was fresh and well prepared. The prices were better than the Marina side of the street. I will stop here again next year.

“Used to be our favorite”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2012

This restaurant used to be our favorite. This would be the first dinner we have in Cabo each time we went. And then we'd go fishing and go back with our catch. They had the most amazing margarita. But when we went last time (probably 2 years ago) the owner had changed and the margarita was no longer good. It wasn't even mediocre. And the food also had changed. So when I went back to Cabo last year, we didn't go back. Very sad. Looking for a new favorite....

“Good food for the last 18 years!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2012 via mobile

First went to el pescador 18 years ago, and have eaten there 2-3 times each trip to Cabo since. Almost always choose the special (lobster + steak, shrimp, scallops or fish for $16). Not a lot of frills here, just good food at a good price. Family run, friendly staff. Ask Diego to perform the toothpick and fork trick for the kids.

“Just OK - better food close by”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2012

Although recommended on Trappers List (Cabo San Lucas "best of list") as a good place for fresh seafood at a great price, of all the restaurants that we ate at, El Pescador (The Fisherman) was the least appealing. It was not bad, just not nearly as good as our new favorites.
