So I am a sucker for a good taco. Don't give me the high dollar fancy place, give me a run of the mill taco place that locals go or a good taco stand. While tooling around Cabo, we had to park away from the downtown area and I asked the parking attendant where was a good place for locals to eat. He told me Los Claros. We took a short walk and found this Taco Mecca.
My wife is a a fish taco fan and I like any taco that has been deep fried. Claro's offered both.
Shrimp tacos deep fried. Start with a flour tortilla that has grilled shrimp and white cheese, deep fried to crispy perfection. Then add slices of avocado and go to the salsa bar and add all or any of the many options that they have at the bar.
Man these tacos were beyond belief
Fish Tacos, freshly made pieces of fish, dipped in a tempura style batter and deep fried to a crispy, not greasy delight. Add cabage salsa and cream sauce. The wife loved em.
Great Prices (4 Tacos 3 beers for a little over $10)
Clean dinning area
We came in and there was not one beer sign. "I asked do you have beer?" the cook answered no. When we turned around to leave he said, yes, we have beer just joking.
When they brought the beer it was funny it came in a plastic red cup. No cans, no bottles etc.
It wasn't until we left that we realized that they are not licensed to sell beer, but they keep in in the back, out of view.
