My wife and I have celebrated our Anniversary the past two years at the El Farallon Restaurant. The food and service are the best you can ask for! And, the views and atmosphere are breathtaking. I recommend you get the "Bounty" for two. They start you off with a Baja Clam Soup, then 3 Family Style appetizers of Calamari, Fish Ceviche', Salad. Choice of 4 sides. We had grilled zucchini, mushrooms, potatoes, and corn on the cobb, Then, a lobster tail, 4 ounces of Sea Bass, 4 ounces of Mahi Mahi, 4 ounces of Snapper, and 4 ounces of Parrot Fish. All grilled to perfection!!!! We will go there every year. What is amazing is a lot of the locals say they do not know about the restaurant.

This is a somewhat unique offering... pass through the gates of the ultra-exclusive Capella resort and it feels like you're a million miles away from bustling Cabo - unbelievable effect seeing that you're just off the harbor. You walk through the amazing resort, built into the boulders and hugging the sea. Farallon is an outdoor affair, a few dozen tables set between an expanse of rock and the water. As you enter, you'll be greated by the full selection of seafood on display and an open kitchen. There was live music during all of our visits, a really nice touch. Now for the food... this isn't a gourmet paradise. The appetizers are a fixed selection, decent but not spectacular. The reason you are here then? Well, you either like simply prepared fresh seafood or to be seen amongst the 'haves' of the world. The seafood is simply grilled... items like lobster tail, giant shrimp, and different classes of exotics clams adorn the menu. The wine list is quite good, with reasonable choices from Argentina and California if you're not up for opening the wallet all the way. This place isn't cheap and this isn't Michelin star cuisine... but if you're after an amazing experience featuring very fresh seafood, then give it a go.

I surprised my wife with dinner here for our anniversary last week and couldn't have been more pleased. Between the awesome location and fresh seafood it was a great experience. I thought the prices were reasonable for what you get especially considering that appetizers and most sides are included. All of the seafood looked very fresh and there was an "expert" there to help with any questions about the various types of fish, etc. I chose the red snapper and it was delicious while my wife had the tuna and was pleasantly surprised that it was cooked perfectly as so many places tend to overcook tuna. We felt the fish had plenty of flavor on its own but they also served a trio of sauces on the side that were delicious as well. El Farallon was definitely a highlight of our trip and we will dine there again in the future.

To start with the name - or the phrase... "El Farallon - Capella Pedregal" that could be the first word in a sentence to seduce the woman you love.

We climbed part of the "Stairway" when it was dark outside - a long tunnel with the lights led us to a very romantic entrance to the Restaurant. Then we were led to a path nearby the Sea, where you could hear the waves meeting the coastline. The sound was pure "Mexican Mindfulness".

Just before we should enter the restaurant area, we waited for a short time in a small Cave with candles - and the time of waiting was just the thing that added more to our expectations.

I very sweet girl came and invited us to the spot where to choose what we wanted for our Dinner. The treasures from the Sea gave us an easy choice. Lobster and Parrot-fish were just some of the many opportunities...

Our Table was ready - and the Chairs covered with blankets for the shoulders.

First course outstanding - and became a bridge to the main-course. Could you ever think of complaining about Lobster - or Parrot fish? There is only one relevant answer to that question...The desert was like a celebrating situation with a certain cake for the young lovers.

The wine card was exclusive and just all about making the right choice. The wine waiter gave us the best advice - and send us all the way to Heaven.

I can ensure you that the spot - the El Farallon will make you forget all about the "real daily life on Earth". As we saw other couples enjoying the spot, the food and the wine, I suppose that the was "Love in the air".

If we ever come back, I am sure that we try the "Mexican El Farallon Mindfulness" place again.

I suggest that you visit the place without kids - as it is a place for exclusive silence, loving thoughts - not to forget the stunning view and the fantastic seafood.
