Food was average, but well worth the visit. I would recommend the restaurant even if you are not a hotel guest.

This place is seriously gorgeous! We ate just as the sun was setting and couldn't have been more perfect. The menu is literally as fresh as it can get. Once you are settled in, you walk to a display where you pick the cut of meat you would like. The food is incredible but be ready to spend a pretty peso! This is a must in Cabo!

Make your reservation several days in advance, so you can dine just before sunset at this magical place. And I'd get there a half hour before your reservation, because arriving at the Capella Resort is an experience in itself. Plus, you'll want a few minutes at El Farallon just to take-in the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean and the view towards Lands End.

The sea scallops were unbelievably fresh and delicious! All the food is very good, but stick with the seafood choices. Ladies will NOT want to wear very high heels or spikes or serious lifts. Or, be prepared to take them off and walk barefoot. They will provide some slippers so you don't have to walk barefoot. (I think that's kinda cute). Deserts were very good too.

We stayed after dinner for a cigar in their small but comfortable bar area...if you can ball it a bar area, because there's not a real bar per se. You just aren't in a hurry to leave this magical place.

We have been to Cabo several times and eaten here twice. The view is one of the best in the world. The spindrift comes over the tables and gives a special ambience. We have the combo dinner with a few choices of fish. The shrimp is the best. The lobster is great too...just watch the size of the lobster because they charge you by the pound and if you get the combo, you don't want a big lobster. We also had the special red wine made for pedregal, which was very good as well. The waitstaff is excellent and friendly.

The restaurant is worth the view and ambiance alone. The food was good but very simple- I honestly had better meals for less and other locations but it was worth the experience. I just have to say to the ladies- wear flats!! I'm a pro in heals but it's all stone and a long walk.
