I feel I should start off by saying that my wife and I are not owners. But we stayed at the Grand Solmar for a week during the end of October and first of November (after much research.) We knew it was a nice resort going in, but had no idea of how nice the Grand Solmar was. The pictures on the internet give you an idea, but don't do the beauty of the resort justice. The resorts incorporation of the natural rock formations add to the already impressive landscaping. We really enjoyed listening/watching the massive waves crash on the beach from the infinity pools. When a wave crashed on the entire beach at the same time it sounded like thunder on the shoreline, it was an amazing sight to see . One night we stayed in the pools until sunset and it was the prettiest sunset we had seen since we visited Negril Jamaica. We also really enjoyed it being a cash free resort and the private beach was a great plus.
My only complaint would be the construction on the new building. Although it didn't ruin our trip it certainly was an annoyance. We asked to be away from the construction, but we were in building six and every room is affected by the construction in building six by noise or sight or both. The crane isn't bad but one day they were using a gas powered pressure washer that was obnoxious by the main pool. If you are lucky enough to be placed in building 7,8 or 9 the construction won't be an issue. Inspite of this we still really enjoyed Cabo San Lucas and our time at the Grand Solmar.
One tip to pass on was we found out we could walk down to Lands End and with a pretty easy hike over it arrive at Divorce/Lovers Beach.

Room Tip: To get away from the construction insist on a room a way from building 6.

We are so glad you had an incredible and memorable stay with us.
Any guest or club owner, deserve all ways the very best.
By the way, Whale season has just started (November to March), you will not believe how beautiful it is to watch them as they swim in front of your very eyes while enjoying the infinity pool.

As a time share owen the best time I ever had and best service was the resort staff.
Armando Pech(bartender) and Marcelina Gracia (house keeping). If it was not for the staff making it all possible to accomodate us at our stay at Grand Solmar Lands End, I would have sold my timeshare.
Their service was awesome. The entire staff was great but the second time around going to Grand Solmar Lands End, the staff (Armando & Marcelina) reconize me. And I introduce them to my mother and she was treated as I was treated with dignity and respect.
Thumbs up to the staff and cant wait to go next year.
Very satisfy

My wife and I really love Cabo. It is an easy 2 hour flight from Southern California, the people are wonderful, the food is fantastic, and the resorts are AMAZING! We have stayed many times in other 5 star resorts (hope that doesn't sound snooty) but have noticed that the service and friendliness of the staff had suffered. We decided to try Grand Solmar Lands End. The resort is brand new and is only partially built, but we found the property and the staff to be all that we had hoped and more. When the resort is finished it will be pretty unbelievable I'm sure. We spent most our days at the pools and really enjoyed the smaller pool with the swim up bar. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, especially David " Mi Gemelo" (my twin) Eduardo, Bruilo, Sergio & Carolina. We were greeted every day by name and always with a big smile. We had dinner once at La Rocca on the resort and it was very good, however, we prefer to go into town for the "Local" experience and to spread the love around a bit to the local people (it is also much more affordable) try "Tres Islas" for dinner. Our room was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We had a suite with 2 baths, living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 flat screens and a huge balcony! Thank you to everyone at the resort for the hospitality, we will be back!

Cabo has changed in the last years. It is important to mention that only a few resorts like Grand Solmar do really care and understand what customer service means.
Our passionate employees will do whatever it takes to make your vacation a memorable one.
Thank you for giving us the chance to care and pamper you a little bit.
Looking forward greeting you soon again, I remain.

OK. You can tell we had a really good time. The resort is fabulous. It is compact but not cramped in any way. Our 2-bdrm penthouse was fantastic. Just as we knew it would be when we we bought our week. Slept 4 couples very comfortably with 3 full baths a big kitchen and lots of balcony overlooking the property and the Pacific. Pool bars were much fun, staff very helpful and ready to serve you 2-for-one cocktails at happy hour (3-5 daily).
On-site restaurants serve very nice food and priced about like the nicer places in town. Pools are beautiful. Easy walk to the marina area or a $10 cab ride. The courtesy cart and shuttle drivers are all very freindly and helpful. Most of the staff speak pretty good English. The beach is not swimmable most of the time but the huge beautiful waves breaking right on shore are spectacular and mesmerizing.
The construction on the new building is a bit of a pain right now but won't last for long. Well worth the $$$ AND CAN.T WAIT TO GET BACK!! So, I think we'll go in February!!

I spent the first week of October in a studio and had a great time. The service was great and the noise from the construction was minimal. Spent most of the time at the large pool. (next to the construction) The surf was fantastic. The crashing waves were so load, you could hear at night.

We went in town almost everyday. We took the shuttle to Playa Grande and walked in. We ate at La Roca, they prepared the fish that we caught on both occasions. Well done.

Looking forward to my return trip in December so I can leave the door open and listen to the ways each night.

Looking forward to my stay in a 2 bedroom suite.

Room Tip: Not a bad room at the resort.

We returned from Cabo October 29th. Everything about this property is wonderful. The water
is too rough for swimming, but the sound of the waves crashing is amazing. It is a quiet luxury
resort and the service is excellent. We are two couples and requested a two bedroom unit. They gave us a one bedroom and a studio with a connecting door. We had two of everything, kitchen, dining area, balconies etc... We went through a time share presentation and it wasn't
hard sell or pushy sales people. In fact everyone we talked to was very pleasant. We will be going back.
