“Good alternative to Chileno Beach”
Reviewed February 27, 2014

Located nearby Chileno beach, this is another good snorkeling spot. It's not as crowded as Chileno but, does not offer any shade or restrooms outside of a couple of porta potties. Still, it is a very pristine beach

“Good beach”
Reviewed February 27, 2014

Very nice beach, not too crowded in the AM. In fact, when I first got there, there were only 4 others in the water. You can take the bus for like12 pesos to get there.

Water was calm that day and visibility was good. Can be a little chilly in winter. There are a number of fish in the area and overall, it was good snorkeling. Not great, just good. There is more variety in Hawaii and Southern Florida, so just 4 stars.

“Beautiful views.”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

The beach was excellent but we did have some unfavorable tides for swimming during our stay with the red flags out. There were also a lot of jelly fish washed ashore.

“Snorkeling OK, nice quiet beach”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

If you're looking for world-class snorkeling, you won't find it here. The beach is quiet, nice for a picnic and a bottle of wine.

“Feels like a private beach”
Reviewed February 20, 2014

This protected beach is beautiful, great snorkeling. If you beat the boats that come later in the afternoon and it feels like your own private beach. Bring an umbrella if you need protection from the sun as there is no natural shade available.
