My parents have owned for 20-years and have always looked forward to their stay. This time, my mother had a bad fall and was hospitalized for 5-days, leaving my father to fend for himself between hospital visits. The staff treated them like they were family, arranging for meals for my father, driving him to the hospital and when my mother was released, taking the best care of them. From running phone-call messages to their room, many time a day, to making sure that their room was out-fitted with extra pillows to ease my mothers pain to delivering menus, taking orders, delivering food and doing it all with a kind heart.
I would like to single out "Israel" whom went above and beyond the expected; going to the hospital to visit mother, while he was on vacation, kissing her on the forehead 5-times, once for each of her kids and showing genuine concern and kindness. Managing this all could have been very difficult, given the distance and the daily uncertainty, but I was always assured they would always have a roof over their head and a kindness which is often times lost in the hospitality industry.
In their 80's, this may be their last trip to Club Cascades and they have always spoken about how wonderful this place is and this past week made it all clear to their kids (we're all 50+).
Thank you, to everyone, who took such good care of mom and dad, leaving a lasting memory which they, and we, will cherish for ever.
a grateful family
