Interesting place. Very private and service is pretty good (depending on who is working). However, location is not great, the internet doesn't work, and rooms are half way decent. Not sure where all the great reviews come from. If you want privacy, this place is good.

They do try, I will give them credit for that... For the money, I guess it's not too bad.

My husband and I went two days early before our timeshare and stayed here. Brian and staff we very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and had a nice kitchen area and a porch that went out to the pool. We were brought breakfast every morning which was wonderful. The view overlooks the city and the harbor and is simply breath taking. Very peaceful and quite place a little out of the way from walking to town but it could be done. Brian would give us ride into town when needed and he allowed us to stay until our room at Playa Grande was ready. Thank you Brian for a wonderful time.

I have had the pleasure of staying here several times now and every time I return I feel as though I am experiencing the beauty, hospitality and family experience for the very first time. The entire staff is AMAZING! They really go out of their way to make sure that all of your needs are met, while at the same time blending into the scenery to allow you privacy. The views are outstanding! Accommodations are spacious, charming and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious! It is so nice to retreat to this hideaway after a busy day or night in town. On our last trip in July of this year I was able to bring my fiancee. It was his first time to Mexico. He was enchanted and speaking pretty good Spanish by the end of our stay. I would recommend this Inn to anyone visiting Cabo! Muy Bueno!

Room Tip: So far I have only stayed in the one bedroom suites, upstairs and down. Plenty of room for three peo...

Took my husband on a retirement celebration and chose this little inn.Everything was perfect for us.Brian the manager {a california transplant}..who spoke very good english and spanish was so helpful. We felt very safe as the inn sits on a mountain top overlooking the harbour and city lights at night.Cheap cab ride into town or you could walk area seems really safe.Brian is a real go to guy for information and very attentive to his guest..if you need something he will do his very best to make sure that your taken care of.The staff made you feel right at home.Great breakfast brought to you on your private terrace every morning and clean spacious room, beautiful grounds. The restaurant wasn't open when we were there however a little roadside grill just a few hundread yards down hill from the inn is wonderful..as southerners we call ourselves bar-b-que snobs and every thing we ordered was wonderful especially ribs and burgers and they also deliver. We went into town for mostly dinner and there are plenty of great places to eat and shop.Whale watching was such a thrill. We were there in January when the whales are plentiful. We have been to several places in Mexico but Cabo by far seemed the safest..whatever they are doing it works..We hope to return here someday and we will be staying right here every time..Thank you Brian and staff for making our vacation so special

Out of the way place. Most taxi drivers did know where it is. Absolutely great staff. The view of the harbor is outstanding. Brian was a great host, going above and beyond providing excellent service. Steps everywhere, would not be for the handicapped. We had cab drivers charge us $7 to $12 for rides to/from town. We would stay here again.

What a Gem! We booked a two week stay here from February 18- March 3, 2012. We will definitely return. The inn is small, consisting of six rooms in one building with junior suites and one bedroom units. The rooms are not fancy or modern but are clean, spacious, homey and comfortable. Tons of storage space and well stocked. There is also what is referred to as the hidden room (two bedroom unit) and a penthouse suite which is huge.
A full, hot breakfast to order was brought down to our patio area each a.m. There is a full sized frig, stove top and microwave in rooms. Bathroom with shower, never ran out of hot water. There is a gas barbecue as well as a charcoal grill for guests to use. There was even an offer to cook our food for us if we liked. The outdoor area is beautiful. The views of the harbour where the cruise ships dock and Cabo lit up at night were spectacular. There is a small pool and hot tub. The pool is not heated and is quite frigid. Once you get over the initial shock, it is quite refreshing. The hot tub has to be turned on about 15-20 minutes to heat it up. Best of all, this place is quite! Mainly couples, perfect for a romantic getaway and no early morning lounge chair savers. A real plus! Blarney Castle is great for singles, couples and families with children over 8 years. It is not suitable for people with physical disabilities. Lots of stairs and uneven walking, especially the parking lot. Swimming pool is difficult to get into and out of, as there are no stairs or handrails.
The castle was designed after an Irish Castle with a Blarney Stone to boot. Very unique design and ornametation throughout. Brian, the manager is a wealth of information and bends over backwards to make your stay a memorable one. Always takes time to chat, driving guests into town and arranging transfers to the airport if needed.
The Wi-Fi did not work, possibly because of the surrounding rock and mountains, but just ask and Brian would open up the office to let you hook up your computer. Very accomidating.
We cannot say enough about the staff. Evelyn, who took our breakfast order every morning, Pancho- the Gardiner who kept the grounds spotless and well groomed, Irene who thouroughly cleaned our room each day, Sonia- who cooked our breakfasts, Adrien, the security guard on duty from 6p.m to 6a.m and Alex, the event planner. A very big thank you to all of you!
You do your jobs very well and are always courteous(even though there is a language barrier). Had a smile for everyone.

No need for a gym here. For excercise, just walk down the mountain into town, about a half hour walk. If you don't feel up to walking uphill on the way home, grab a cab, 6-7 dollars. If you don't feel like cooking or going out, there are a number of restaurants that do take out. There is not a restaurant on site at present, but hopefully will re-open in the future. The TV has limited channels, movies, sports, but if you wanted something special, Brian could switch it on for you.

We would highly recommend the Blarney Castle Inn, especially if you just want to chill out, relax and get caught up on your reading. We met people from all over the world here, hope to return next year!

Hidden gem. Staff treat you like family and go out of their way to make your stay delightful. Easy walk downhill to downtown Cabo. A cab ride back is only $7.00.
