We arrived here around 8:30 one night on the recommendation of another Trip Advisor member. I had no idea what to expect, having done zero research before we left the US.
This upscale gated property is absolutely stunning with private residences and lovely grounds. The restaurant is down a charming flight of stairs and directly on the beach. There is inside and outside seating...although we did not have a reservation, we were courteously accommodated with a beautiful patio table. There is a bar under a large palapa.
We ordered a tomato beer and a mojito. An appetizer of some type of jicama was complimentary and delicious. My husband ordered the Sea Bass that was cooked to perfection and I had a Fideo dish with fresh avocado and cheese. We also ordered dessert (chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream) and coffee which didn't disappoint. Our check came to about $70 US and worth every penny.
The service was impeccable, the resort itself absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, hot, fresh and arrived very timely, and the ambiance was lovely being right on the beach. Thanks to our wonderful server Martin and another gentleman named Juan Carlos. The entire staff was actually top notch.
Our only regret is that we didn't go back for a second visit.
