“After 4 years, still our favorite”

From the moment you enter the gates at The Bungalows, you know you are in a special place. This quiet oasis is a beautiful retreat from all the activity in Cabo San Lucas. We always feel as though we are a part of the family at The Bungalows. I don't think there is another place on earth that gives you the special attention given by Estella, Erik, and Jr. It is evident that they love what they do and love making their guests feel welcome. We just returned from our fourth trip to Cabo San Lucas and third stay at The Bungalows, and we can't wait to go back next summer to our very special "home away from home".

I was also with that recent group from Houston and wll say The The Bungalows was the perfect place for me. Maybe sacrifice was too strong of a word in the previous review, as it didn't feel like we sacrificed anything in this tropical oasis. The sheets were fresh and luxurious each day. The furnishings were very unique and helped us realize what a special place we had found. The pool area, the covered breakfast patio and upstairs veranda were all so inviting. Estela, Eric and Junior were incredible. i have never felt so pampered on a vacation. The location let us get to everywhere fairly quickly. Breakfasts were something to look forward to and the menu was different and delicious every day for the 8 days we were there. Tisha, the owner was wonderful. It was obvious that her desire was to be sure we were all spoiled beyond our expectations. She was passionate about The Bungalows, and very professional in her desire to provide the best value in Cabo. I left there knowing that my money had been well spent and look forward to returning to this place of hospitality. If you are wondering where to stay in Cabo, i highly recommend The Bungalows and can happily confirm the many 5 star ratings this place receives.

This place is not for everyone, but it worked out great for our family of 6 and 3 additional teen age friends. We have never been to Cabo before, and found this place by reviewing the TripAdvisor ratings. We didn't know quite what to expect from a place that was so reasonably priced in a resort location (we had a 2br bungalow, a deluxe suite and a cozy suite which allowed us to sleep 9 for around 300 dollars a night). We sacrificed being on the beach, and there is no ocean view. Town was still a hike or a taxi drive away, but was much closer than from any of the villas or places on the Corridor. My main impression- what a value! Junior met us at the front and put away our luggage with a smile. We soon met his brother Eric and his mother Estella. They seemed to take great pleasure in answering our many questions and doing everything within their power to be sure our stay was a complete success. The breakfasts were a culinary delight supervised by Estella with her sons acting as our waitstaff. The rooms were comfortable and furnished with a local flair. The housekeepers did a great job of cleaning up after our large group each day. Everyone went far beyond our expectations in serving us. Junior even lent us his boogie board on the day the older kids wanted to surf. Their recommendations were excellent. We ate at a great taco stand we would have never dared enter without their assurances. Basically with the money we saved by staying at the Bungalows we were able to experience deep sea fishing, surfing, sailing, Baja dune buggy race cars, waverunners and were able to eat at a variety of reasonably priced restaurants. We did rent a car and found this to be very helpful. If you are looking for a luxury hotel this is not the place. Ditto for proximity to the beach. But for unparelled service and hospitality and a reasonably central location, this is as nice of a place as i've experienced. We received a special treat when we were fortunate enough to meet the owner Tisha towards the end of our stay. She had been incredibly helpful answering my many questions before our arrival, so it was a pleasure to be able to thank her personally. She is as gracious as she is lovely. Face to face it was obvious that her desire to please her guests was of utmost importance to her professionally. I also encourgaged her and thanked her for providing smoke free rooms throughout The Bungalows. They have recently gone to great expense to create a little place for smokers outside of the Inn, and though she is trying to accommodate her few smoking customers, i hope it becomes a nonsmoking oasis in the future. Keep your expectations realistic and you will be most pleasantly surprised by this wonderful place and the wonderful people who run it.

Simply the most pleasurable travel experience we have ever had. The Bungalow's, a charming Breakfast Inn with a staff that not only accomodated, but became a piece of our hearts.
The rooms are beautiful, the food is simply the best we had in Cabo (Estella - please consider 3 meals a day) and the staff became like our family -making our vacation probably the finest we have ever had. Thank you Junior! Not on the beach, small and intimate - not a problem - find the romance of Cabo in this hotel. I've told everyone I know considering a vacation in the near future - go to Cabo San Lucas and stay at the Bungalows. We will return soon and often. What more can I say than, that the Bungalows and their family has become part of our family and heart. Hope to see you all soon.

Visiting Cabo regularily is what we've been doing for several years. Usually, we go with friends and rent a Villa. We like having the luxuries of a kitchen, priviate pool and so on. Last October, we decided to mix things up a bit - so we stayed on Medano Beach -never again! Not bad if you are the "resort" type, but not for us. Too busy, expensive (food) and totally lacking in charm. We like small, quaint, bed and breakfast type lodging. During our get-away in April we had the pleasure to stay at The Bungalows, which nestled comfortably into a residential hillside, minutes from downtown. Must be on the beach types - can well, stay on the beach! Those who would delight in finding a comfortable, clean, hidden oasis with great service and lots of character and charm will be well pleased. We had a standard guest room one night which was very nice and moved into a two bedroom downstairs bungalow for the following three nights. Could not have been happier! The pool/courtyard setting is lovely (and private). A few guest here and there throughout the day - but always quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was delightful, but as usual in Mexico - try not to be in a big hurry. We will never stay anywhere else again!

I have stayed at many different places over the last 10 years in Cabo...most of them have been good but this was incredible. Great food, clean rooms, incredible staff (too many nice things to list here) all for a great price! The search for "The Place" is over, I have found my new home away from home. Any and all recommendations will now be going here. I would love to keep it a secret but it's just too good not to share.
