Recommended to us by a Hilton restaurant employee who when we asked, where other than Hilton would you eat, he said Puerta Vieja. Since he is an honorable man, we took his advice. Lunch began with a wonderful free dish of marinated cactus, cauliflower, and mushroom, accompanied by fresh salsa and chips. I ordered the stuffed fish and my sweetheart a salad and something else (shrimp perhaps) which I'm not able to remember right now, busy as I am thinking about my great meal. Service was perfect, the views of the arch stunning since none of the pig boats were in port, and the cost reasonable though you will pay for the water you drink if that's your choice. Right on the bus line it's a quick trip from either San Jose or CSL and it's very much worth the trip.
