From the moment the driver dropped us off at Marina Fiesta we had a great time! As soon as the truck stopped, the bell man Miguel, was right there grabbing our bags. Check in was quick and easy and we got a quick explanation of how the all inclusive works. As soon as this was done Miguel showed us to our room on the 3rd floor. Our room, which was a junior suite, was great. It was very clean and plenty large enough for the two of us. The bathroom had a sink separated from the shower/toilet area by a privacy door. The room came equipped with a 2 burner stove, microwave, fridge, pans, and dishes. There was also a decent flat screen tv and 2 queen beds. 2 very firm queens beds. It is worth mentioning that this was the lowest form of accommodation available on the website.

The all inclusive was great for us. We typically cruise for our vacations so this was a first for us. Included are 4 beers, 4 cokes, and 4 waters daily in the fridge. All drinks at the pool including alcoholic, coke, and water. Meals at the restaurants associated with the hotel.

The property has several restaurants along the pier. Italian, Mexican. Seafood, Sushi, and American. For breakfast and lunch several of these are open, there is also a buffet style breakfast at the pool. For dinner they ask that reservations are made for the restaurants. While this may seem like an inconvenience it wasn't for us. All of the restaurants are small and are open to the public as well as to guests. We ate at Jacks which is the American place, Presto for Italian, and Imomo for sushi. Both the wife and I were very pleased with the quality of food in all of the restaurants.

The pool was on the small side but then again so is the property. This works out great! The pool was never crowded while we were there and there were always lounges available. The only bad thing are the somewhat limited hours, 8 to 8.

So long story short we didn't hear any construction noise, didn't have any bad food, didn't have a dirty or otherwise unacceptable room. We did have a great time and are looking forward to our next opportunity to stay at Marina Fiesta.

Room Tip: Not really sure that there are any bad rooms. We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool a...

We stay down in Cabo every year. We needed a place to stay before we checked into our home resort so we came to the Marina Fiesta. Is this place still a RCI Gold Crown Resort??? If so, I can't believe it!

I had emailed Marina Fiesta ahead that we were arriving a day after the Monday check-in. But they went ahead and gave our assigned room away and replaced in with an inferior one. They also forgot our shuttle from the airport. Some Marina Fiesta reception employee told me we should take their shuttle because to take a taxi would cost $90! Well guess what folks, we came through immigration to find out that they hadn't even reserved our shuttle! But what good luck! Actually the taxi drivers create their own shuttles, and their prices are even less than those of the resort's shuttles, not at all the $90 the Marina Fiesta reception person had told me.

The view from our balcony was pretty much of a view of a wall. The room was clean enough, but small, worn and very dark. One bedside lamp was broken and a light bulb was burned out in the kitchen area. Actually I don't think it should be called a partial kitchen. It was a mini "kitchen". There was a small, dirty microwave up near the ceiling, and one tiny cupboard held a few random dishes and one bread knife. There was hardly any room for anything. The small fridge was almost full of beers, etc. they wanted us to use and get charged for. That left practically no room for our things needing refrigeration. Their beers, etc., are now filling up the tiny kitchen counter while our things are cooling in the fridge.

Throughout the unit the trim was chipped and tired. The bathroom was tiny. Obviously, the resort's attraction is that it's very close to town and you can walk anywhere in Cabo from there pretty easily. The resort overlooks the Marina, so there are no ocean views, but there are views of lots of boats. The walk to our room was along the back of the resort overlooking the service road, and I often smelled raw sewage as I walked to the room. The pool was o.k. for sunbathing, but not warm enough for me to swim. We are not drinkers or sailors so ocean trips or nightly alcoholic adventures are not for us. If that is what you like, this could be the place for you!

The highlights for us were the friendly bell boy, Caesar, who seemed to be everywhere at once, taking beautiful care of everyone, the gracious concierge, Alexa, and the cheery parakeets twittering in a beautiful cage by the pool.

I can hardly wait to leave. We're still stuck here for a few more days. Camping on the beach would be a lot more fun. Good luck folks if you get stuck here!

We stayed for 5 nights and had an amazing time! The rooms were incredibly clean and the beds were super comfortable. The daily maid service was much appreciated as well. Everyone was very friendly and gave wonderful advice since we explored a lot in our car. We had the all inclusive package and every one of the restaurants had great food and service. Baja Lobster was delicious and the local friends that we made at Captain Jacks were much appreciated!!!!

Room Tip: Face the pool, lots of sunlight and good views of the marina!

Just returned last night after 6 beautiful nights at Marina Fiesta Resort. We did the all inclusive and after talking to our neighbor next to use that is the way to go. The food served at the hotel is good, and the choice of restaurants on the Marina is excellent. It is a tie between Jacks and Presto's- would recommend both places to eat.

The grounds at the hotel/pool are kept very clean and the wait staff is awesome for as many guess as they have to keep happy. The pool is just the right temperature to enjoy any time of the day/night. The hours are a little limited as it is only open from 8am to 8pm.

I do have three suggestions for the hotel- 1. Better lighting by the mirror in the hall/make up area.
2. Robes for the guest. Did not like having to get dressed in the mornings to go out and sit on the balcony to enjoy morning coffee. 3. Went to the Spa fro a pedicure and felt like I was in a cave. This area could use some fixing up to fit in better with the décor and excellence of the hotel.

We did however love our stay and plan on returning in May. Staff is most excellent and helpful.

Room Tip: First floor if you want to be pool level- we were on the 3rd floor and enjoyed the view of the pool...

Kudos to the bellboys Pedro, Miguel and Antonio for all their help and attention during our stay at Marina Fiesta. And many thanks also to Liz, Jesus and Giovanni for their help at the front desk. All of them made our trip enjoyable and memorable!

My husband and I have been going down to Cabo for several years and Marina Fiesta is a timeshare for us. Always great to be greeted time and time again by the staff that remember us each stay. Pedro, Miguel and Antonio are the best at greeting you when you arrive and make you feel so very welcome! I highly recommend this resort. It is right on the marina, and you never need to rent a car. Everything is in walking distance.

Room Tip: It's tough to have a bad room here. The remodeled rooms are done so very well. It's Cabo! Wh...

I just returned from marina Fiesta last night. It was my 4th time to Cabo and first stay at Marina Fiesta. Loved absolutely everything about the hotel! Great friendly stuff, location, pool and much, much more! I’ve just read some reviews about the hotel and most people are honest about their experience. The only one thing that bothered me for the first 4 nights was very hard pillows (but I got used to it after 4 nights). Thank you hotel management and stuff for such a lovely stay. Plan to be back to marina Fiesta in March for my Birthday!
