“Will Return Again!”

This was our 3rd vacation to Cabo San Lucas & 2nd stay at the Marina Fiesta. Great location to town and marina. We opted not to use the all-inclusive package. Many great restaurants within walking distance or short cab ride into town. The staff was friendly and courteous. It was nice to see a familiar face upon arrival such as Isidro. Our first vacation in 2008, Isidro welcomed us upon arrival and continues to give five star service to this day. I was impressed with the security at this resort. At all times the front gates were locked as well as the entrance to the marina. If you didn't have a room key, there was no getting in. We will be back in 2 yrs. Continue the great work!

The hotel was nice, clean, and the staff mostly friendly and helpful. I recommend that you spring for a master suite - much nicer rooms. By itself, I'd give the hotel 4 stars, but the location/noise detracts from the experience, as does the somewhat misleading "all inclusive" deal.

First, the noise. Admittedly, we were there during Spring Break, so the hotel was full of college kids, drinking too much, making noise, and coming in late quite rambunctiously. But, we found out from some locals that Cabo San Lucas is considered the "party place" in the area, especially the marina area, and especially again this hotel. So, while not every week may be like spring break, I'd expect this hotel to still have an above average amount of noise and traffic. Also, it is right on the marina, next to a mall, and directly above some bars and restaurants. Every night around 5 PM, a guitar player came on duty at one of the bars and started playing, people began milling about for drinks and dinner, etc. It's busy.

If you're looking for a quiet, isolated spot, this hotel is not for you.

Second - the "all inclusive" deal. In theory, you could spend a week here and not have to spend any additional money. However, it will take a lot of effort or low expectations. The hotel offers a buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at no cost as part of the deal. The food is just okay. There are several restaurants right off the hotel that also offer "free" meals as part of the deal, but you have to make your dinner reservations by 9 am typically or they will tell you they are full if you try later than that. Again, the food is mostly mediocre, and not all menu items are available as part of the all inclusive, and I think drinks are limited in number per meal.

Regarding drinks as part of the deal. The hotel will never stock your fridge with more than 4 beers per day. So, if you want more, you have to go out to the poolside bar and drink there (they will not serve you a group of drinks unless your entire party is there at the pool or bar), And service is not exactly great. Also, the bar shuts down at 8 pm. So, if you want to tie one on, you either have to hang at the pool all day and get well lubricated before 8 pm, or break out your wallet and buy some drinks somewhere else.

I found that the hoops you had to jump through for food/drinks grew tiresome to the point where we just didn't concern ourselves with the all inclusive deal anymore. We'd get a couple of drinks during the day at the pool, enjoy the beers that were stocked in the fridge each day, use the buffet for breakfast or a quick lunch, but just accepted the fact that to get good food, good (and many) drinks and good service we'd have to spend some money off property.

If I somehow found myself staying here again, I'm certain I'd enjoy it. It is a good hotel. But, if I ever return (and I probably will - it's beautiful here) I'd likely look for a quieter, more family-friendly location a little bit removed from the hustle and bustle, and likely wouldn't concern myself with an all inclusive deal.

We have been coming here for years. The service is wonderful.Joaquin always remembers us and goes out of his way to make sure that we are happy with the food and service in the restaurant. The bellboys, and yes I will mention them by name. They are Miguel, Antonio, Jorge, Isidro, and Pedro. They always give us quick service, with a smile.I had a wonderful time over Spring break.I feel very lucky to be able to go somewhere where the staff is very attentive and truly seem like they love their jobs and the interactions with the hundreds of tourists that come through the resort every week.Where the food is great and the smiling, happy faces of not only the children and their families make you happy. But where the smiles of the employees make you happy as well.We will be coming back to this resort for years to come. And we thank all the staff for the wonderful service that we received.

We have stayed at the Marina Fiesta annually for the past ten years. We have stayed during all seasons, but now that our kids are grown, we would never go during Spring Break, (week before Easter) at other times, it is glorious! We highly recommend it. It is in the town, on a beautiful marina with many restaurants, on the beach, and we cannot say enough. We wait for the best airfare from Atlanta to plan our trip.

Room Tip: All rooms have a balcony and if you are a bird watcher, you will be delighted at the number of birds...

Place was absolutely terrible. I stayed here for a week while on my college spring break and the service was awful. They forget to mention when checking in they have a NO guest policy. They have a list of all people staying there and check your name every time you come in. This means if your trying to bring a friend in or someone you would like to spend some "quality" time with, you can't. If you somehow manage to tip the guard and he lets you, they will let you walk 50 feet, grab you and kick your companion out. The employees there were the snakiest people I have ever seen. If your looking for a place to stay and party for spring break, DO NOT STAY HERE!

Great Service, Great Food, Fantastic Location! Will definetly stay here again!
An excellent value. You don't need a cab except maybe for the beach which is not on property. Sushi restaurant is great and you get 40% off spa services on Fridays (check to see if this still applies on your travel dates.) I recommend MariTere for your deep tissue massage and body wrap. Our room was huge (beds were comfortable but definetly not the best I've slept in). The drinks were not watered down and they kept-on-comin!

We arrived with our two boys hoping for a nice quiet family vacation. Little did we know that it was American college sping break and this place was party central. There were hundreds of college kids boozing it up around the pool all day and night. We saw a drunk guy pee in the pool. We saw kids passed out in the hot tub and all the staff did was pick up their empty glasses and left them there. We got woken up every night around 3am when the kids came back from the bar screaming yelling and swearing in the hallways. our room was right beside the main lobby and the staff there didnt even say a word to the spring breakers. My hisband actually had to confront the kids to get them to be quiet. Our kids were wondering what was going on. We were one of only a few families there and ended up going to their sister resort, Hacienda Encantada, to get away from this nonsense. I have never write a bad review if any hotel before but I want to have other families avoid what we went through. We paid a lot of money for our vacation and this is not what we expected.
