“Great for the price”

The hotel was everything we could have asked for considering it was the cheapest place around. It was pretty barebones, but very clean, included a kitchenette, and the staff was friendly and accomodting. The hotel was very close to the marina but a little farther from the main drag, which made it nice and quiet and the shops restaurants that were nearby were less tourist-y and also less expensive.

Needed to find lodging during our fishing trip and Siesta Suites was recommended by Mary of the Flyhooker. Fishing was the main objective so we wanted something close to the Marina and downtown. The Siesta Suites turned out to be close to everything. The hotel has a friendly and informative staff. The rooms were well cared for and always ready for us on our return from fishing. There is an outstanding restaurant located right on the premises and we could have eaten there everyday. This hotel is a no nonsense setup so if you are looking for all the frills it is not for you but as a place to come back too after a hard day of fishing it was perfect. We could just step out of the hotel and within a three block radias have access to a multitude of shops and restaurants. We will be using this hotel on our next trip there probably in 2010!

The hotel was clean and well cared for. The courtyard provided a break from the dusty streets of Los Cabos. And the prices were so good we were able to get a separate room for the kids! The location allows you to walk to any part of town (free exercise) and Loco Lobster is just down the street (great guacamole). We really got to know the area by walking around. If the hotel had been on the beach we might never have explored the town. We might never have found so many good places to eat.

Unlike other hotels in the area - the window unit A/Cs worked well.

A very good place to stay with wonderful staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Internet access onsite. A great Italian Restaurant, Salvatore's, next door. Prices are very reasonable. Very close to the Marina but without the high prices. Not too big a place and not too small. Clean and cozy with lots of natural vegetation growing.

This trip was my first trip to Cabo. I will always stay at Siesta Suites. I recommend them highly.

I recommend Siesta Suites if you are looking for an economical, but great stay in Cabo San Lucas. It is located so that you can virtually walk to anything and everything! The rooms are perfect for two and having the little kitchenette is great for snacks and light meals. The Italian Restaurant in the courtyard of the hotel hosts some of the best eats in Cabo as well. The owners are super friendly and the rooms super clean.

Diane and I have been spending January's in Cabo San Lucas since 2004. We always stay at the Siesta Suites. If you like an accommodation that is within walking distance to all things downtown and the marina then this place is for you. Alex and Nancy, the owners, are willing to help with transportation and activities and will bend over backwards to assist you. Jaun and his wife (managers) are also pleased to help you with any questions you may have. As it is such a small place, (20) rooms, you actually get to know the housekeeping staff and there is never a worry that anything will go wrong with regards to the security of your belongings. The Siesta Suites has an internet cafe in the lobby, a restaurant co-located in the courtyard and social pool for a quick dip. There is a sundeck with a BBQ up on the second floor which makes it ideal for the fisherman. It is not as quiet, as say the all-inclusive places up the corridor, but you can enjoy a good nights sleep in a place that is comfortable, feels like home and is central to all the best places to eat in CSL.

  • Liked — The people that own and run it make all the difference in the world.
  • Disliked — Can't think of a single thing...
