The resort grounds are beautiful and the view of Land’s End is absolutely stunning!!

Upon our arrival, we learned that the studio room I had reserved with 2 double beds was not available (even though pre-arrival check-in was completed). We were placed in a room with a king-sized bed and a very uncomfortable sleeper sofa and then moved to a studio room with 2 double beds the next day. While the first room we stayed in was very nice (recently remodeled); the room we were moved to had not been, and it was really due for an upgrade. The shower tile was disintegrating, mold around the tub, and the furniture was scarred from many years of abuse. Our maid, Guadalupe, did excellent job of keeping our room as clean as possible every day! One suggestion for the resort... is to attempt to place smoking guests all in one location of the resort. While we understood that it is acceptable for guests to smoke on their balconies; we had next door neighbors that smoked VERY frequently making it very difficult for us to go out on our own balcony to enjoy the incredible view we had.
The resort was quite busy when we were there (early March); even some college Spring Breakers. Pool chairs would have to be reserved very early in the morning if you wanted a prime location to layout.

There are several dining options at the resort and the food did not disappoint. We did not participate in the all-inclusive plan this visit. Service and the food at the Sports Bar and Bella was great. Our final night in Cabo, we dined at La Casona at La Estancia and WOW it was fabulous! The service and food was incredible and we will most certainly return! Service at the Taco Bar was not so friendly; the waiters always seemed rushed and had bad attitudes. The food was good at the Taco Bar; I think that it’s a popular spot because of the food and maybe they need more space. It also seemed as though there was a shortage of poolside waiters. This is the first time (we’ve been members since 2014) I’ve encountered such difficulty in getting waited on at the pool.

All-in-all we had a great trip, the weather was perfect every day (there 10 days) and I would give this location another try after all of the remodeling has been completed.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us and for trusting us with your vacation.I am sorry that we did not provide the experience that you and your family expected. It is very important for us to know the áreas that we need to improve. Your may rest assured that your comments about condition of your second room, the lack of service by some members of the wáter staffing by Taco Bar and pool you referred will be taken into consideration and we will act in timely manner to prevent this from happening again, with the remodelation Project for example.
As one of our value timeshare owner is important for us you to know that we will work really hard based on availability upon check in on acomplish beding accomodation since we do not guarantee it, we fell sorry that the complementary room upgrade to a bigger and renovated room you get did not accomodate your family as plan.
On the other hand, we are pleased to know that you enjoyed diversity of restaurants were to eat.
We look forward to hosting you again soon at our beautiful Villa del Palmar and change this experience. You will see a change when coming back.

Great experience! Rooms were always clean and ready. Buffet shows were great, go Chuey, Laura, Angel, DJ Alex, wish I could remember all their names. Ask for Gabriel, best waiter there. Fernando down at El Patron is the best Bar Tender, double Pina Coladas and Fernando Specials. Also best dinner and breakfast buffet at El Patron. Taco and Sushi restaurant was supper yummy for all 8 of us. GM Reuben Sanchez was great when needed for a fix on error with reservation and room provided. Will stay again when going to Cabo.

While I think the hotel needs a LOT of updating...out floors were so gross in our room and they couldn't ever get them clean....it's just pretty run down. The most incredible part of our stay was the customer service from Jorge Apacricio (I may have misspelled the last name a little). His attention to us each time we were in the outdoor restaurant was amazing. We never once had to ask for a thing. He anticipated our needs before we did. He was kind, friendly, hard working, diligent and a pleasure to have conversation with. We felt like we had our own person concierge. He was full of knowledge, funny, and all around an amazing guy. For these reasons, it was hard to leave the resort. He took customer service to a whole new level! We will come back, and ONLY because of him. Thank you, Jorge for WAY exceeding all of our expectations. We were thankful to have met you and appreciated your hospitality.

Great experience just like the Villa del Palmar in Cancun. Clean rooms great service, friendly staff, great food and drinks. Wanted to give a special shut out to Alberto Rodriguez he made sure we were taken care of when heading back yo the airport making sure we were on the right shuttle. Thank you Valaria for making sure we were taken care of coming back home! We recommend this resort!

Good resort. Food was good. Service was good. Room was really humid, though. We had the all inclusive package which was nice, but we still spent quite a bit on things that weren’t included as well as additional tips that we felt was “strongly encouraged” even though tips were included, but it’s not clear how much that was.
