We've been staying at Blanco for about 15 years and love it! With each visit, it's like returning home. We especially like the intimacy of this smaller-sized hotel and prefer it to the larger, glitzy resorts. There's so much in the area to take advantage of that's within walking distance or you can just lie around the pool and relax. Their restaurants are all very good or a quick walk in either direction on the beach will provide lots of other choices. It's a short walk into downtown Cabo or the marina. We also take the shuttle to Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach for a change of scenery. We've found the staff at Blanco to be caring, effective and they've always tended to our needs. The rooms are always immaculate. It's our 'go-to' place in Cabo and we've never been disappointed!

The location and rooms were great but the cleanliness of the hotel has much to desire, the room had some kind of awkward smell and wasn't all cleaned up.

I ordered room service and waited 2 hours! when my meal came it was cold :(

The check out was a nightmare, It was so slow...that made me feel upset.
I really won't recomend it to any of my friends and/or family

Magnifico

My wife and I chose the Pueblo Bonito Blanco from the recommendations found on this site. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Upon checking in, our desk clerk volunteered a complimentary room upgrade. We found ourselves in a large, clean and sparkling room at the rear (closest to the ocean) of the hotel. Our private balcony overlooked a grassy area at the edge of the pool, with an unobstructed ocean view. Inside, we found a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting area, and a large TV. The television was never turned on during our stay, but it was a nice amenity. My wife was so impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom, we returned one day during our stay to find our maid on her hands and knees, scrubbing the floors & corners. The bedroom contained two queen beds, which the staff was happy to pull together and make into a giant “king & a half”. We made good use of the kitchen most mornings when we had breakfast “in” on our sunny patio. Several days were spent by the pool, where we had the same waiter each day taking care of any food or beverage desire we expressed. After the first day he remembered our favorites and thereafter only asked if we wanted the usual. Access to the beach was such a long hike…about 10 steps!
Staff was very accommodating of any request, day or night. The only perceived negative was the occasional time share pitch from some ever-present sales folks. However, after a couple of days of “no, gracias” replies, they quit asking (well, mostly). We will return!

Booked online from our departure airport one day before arrival after weather cancelled St. Kitts trip. Arrived at this fairly small but pleasant and cheerful resort. Immediately impressed with welcoming staff and meticulously clean common areas, pool, and rooms. All rooms have a view of the pool and the ocean. Our one bedroom suite was clean and comfortable. Great place for low-key relaxing. No vendors on the beach area immediately in front of the resort. The staff is very accommodating, and seems genuinely friendly, made excellent recommendations. 5-block walk to marina and downtown. Pool water perfect. Lots of daily activities - the usual water sports and tours, but ceramics, Spanish classes, cooking classes, Texas hold-em, etc. too. Food was good, Beach service a little slow, though. Don't miss the shrimp and sour cream omelet for breakfast. Overall, not the plushest or fanciest kid on the block, but very nice, pleasant, clean, and relaxing. We don't have kids but some of the families there have come back year-after-year. The only unpleasantry about Cabo is the pressure EVERYWHERE to go to a time share sales pitch. Some of the come-ons are well disguised at first, but they are all high-pressure. This facility offered a presentation, but didn't press us when we declined.

We stayed at the Blanco last year and had problems with the reservation, so this year we booked through an agency. It was a fiasco: despite prepaying the entire stay and paying for a 1 bedroom suite, plus calling every day the preceding week and from the airport to confirm we were arriving - and being assured the room was available - we arrive to be told there were no one-bedroom suites. The management were surly and unhelpful. Apparently, as we discovered, this a common practice. The attitude was "go to the Rose, take it or leave it" At no time was there ever an apology. The manager on duty was patronizing and completely without a care that our holiday was being ruined. I didn't rate the Rose badly (even though the rooms are horrible and dark, the beds like slabs and the views of other hotel rooms, because I didn't plan on ever staying there.)

The Blanco is a tired hotel, great location, so so rooms, noisy pool with smokers around it and such unbelievably dreadful service it's not worth staying. There are so many great hotels now I would absolutely never suggest staying here. Run, run as fast as you can - to anywhere but the Blanco - or any other Pueblo Bonito hotel.

Great, smaller hotel. You can walk to the town of Cabo or down the beach in the surf. There is every activity available right there! You'll experience friendliness and privacy at the same time. It was excellent!
