Let me start off with Blanco has the best views and food you could ask for on a vacation. During check in we asked for an ocean front room as we always up grade, but was told no ocean view available tell Monday, we checked in on Wednesday. This was not true as an ocean front was given to a person who asks for an upgrade after we did and got a ocean front room. As I went through the lobby I could hear several people getting up grades during check inns. I did get a great room on the next Saturday as promised by the front desk, just disappointed I was not told the truth on day one. Now for the View you can’t beat it anywhere, priceless! We really enjoyed the food as we had several options to choose from, steak and shrimp every day. The buffet food was terrible very bland and tasteless as well as little options; stick with the set down service. We did have very poor service one night as several members of our group never got their salads, soups and some never received their meal. After notifying the waiter he rushed out some food that was RAW that’s right raw chicken! We received excellent service from the staff, and some made new friends. The resort was very clean and beautiful, as the ground crew worked all night to have it ready for the guest in the day. Now for the entertainment was a big bust an let down in the least. No entertainment at night other than music videos on the big screen, and a lip sync version of Grease. No drinks after 11pm so this place is dead! You have to go to town to get action and it is very pricy but a short walk. We traveled as a big group and was treated well, had a big mix up on communication on group night and it was a failure. They need to work on communication with large groups as this would have been a great night to remember. Overall only complaints were no entertainment, swim up bar, and no service after 11pm. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Room Tip: Get a room 3-5 floors in the middle of the resort over the lobby as you can see everything!

We wanted to commend Yssel for picking the perfect room for us. We had a great view and my husband was greatly amused by the flamingos. We needed to change our air plans because of an impending snow storm in the Midwest and couldn't have done it without the kind help of Erika in concierge. She was very patient and talked to all the people we needed to contact. Thank you both and we will be back next year

This is actually a review for the hotel next door… Pueblo Bonito Blanco. They have the best staff…. Arturo always takes care of me at the door, never forgets my name and is incredibly friendly. Ozcar is equally as friendly! Out by the pool, Freddy always takes care of me and my dirty monkeys (delicious!!). Martin and Carlos make the best cocktails. Donnie is the best activities director….always have a great time with him at blackjack, cocktail hour and water volleyball. He and my aunt have cribbage games during his breaks and have been keeping track for years!

Blanco is nothing fancy-incredibly homey and comfortable. Not too far from downtown which is great for walking to all the restaurants. But the staff is truly what makes Blanco such an enjoyable and wonderful experience!

The hotel is beautiful beach front resort, and it is close to town. There are a lot of flowers. The room was very clean.
The room is nicely appointed, and has a mini kitchen with a balcony. We had a nice view.
The beach was crowded, and we had to look for beach chairs.
There is only free Wifi in one room in front of the hotel, and it is weak.
Be aware of the timeshare sales pressure when you check in.

What a delightful time at Pueblo Bonito "Blanco". It was my husband's birthday and we had a glorious week of sunshine, swimming, and a Seahawks victory! The resort was perfectly located with comfortable accommodations and superior customer service. They even prepared a special Super Bowl viewing venue.
We expecially appreciated Andre's warm welcome and information on room options. Next time we'll stay longer!
Muchas gracias.

I have been traveling to Cabo for almost 25 years. Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos (to us that remember it when it first opened, Blanco) is still my favorite home away from home. I was single when I first traveled to Cabo, & now my wife & 3 children travel there for 2+ weeks per year. When have taken our children there since they were 6 weeks old; how our oldest is 14! From the time you step out of the airport van, you are greeted with, "Welcome Home!" Our long time friend, Frankie is always the first to greet us, along with Antonio, Arturo, & Oscur. They all know us by name & are outstanding. Frankie has a special friendship with our children that makes it especially special for them; he always takes a photo with the kids. Henoc at the front desk understands the service concept & always goes above & beyond to ensure our stay is the best! Our housekeeper, Cecilia (C.C. to us) has taken care of us for over 15 years. She is the sweetest person, knows our children & even used to make their pack & play beds each day, specially tucking in their favorite stuffed animals. To this day, our children seek her out on our first day, giving her a big hug, as well as a good bye hug before we leave. The activities staff, Jaylou, Donnie & Sandra always make sure the kids & adults have a great time. Wilver & Isreal on the beach provide outstanding drink/food services. This is our favorite vacation destination because of the personal touch, warm atmosphere, & service. The rooms, view, beach & activities make it perfect. We will continue to make this our home away from home. There is not a person that we have recommended Pueblo Bonito to that has not absolutely loved it there!

Room Tip: All rooms are great, with ocean views!

Although we had a terrible experience while checking in... we had booked a junior suite in the Blanco and expected to have an ocean view and were given a room in the Rose, in the back, poolside...Our so-called "upgraded" accommodations were luxurious, well complimented, and extremely comfortable and having been "upgraded" to a larger suite was nice but we still would have preferred and expected an ocean view. We really didn't care about having a big suite.

Upon arrival we were told that all the junior suites at the Blanco were undergoing maintenance and that there were none available. We were told that we could be moved to another suite the next day closer to water but when we checked out the location of that available suite we discovered that it was directly over the the very noisy and busy side of the pool with not much of a view. It was then that we decided then that being on quieter far side of the pool at the Rose was a better alternative, so we stayed put.

Although we give very high marks to the consierge, housekeeping and maintenance staff at the Rose ...the thing is, when your expectations are not met in the very beginning, unfortunately, no matter how pleasant and seemingly accommodating the hotel staff can be, one feels "cheated"..like the room rate quoted was a "bait & switch" and so one begins the vacation with a bit of an attitude.

There is no question the hotel's beach location is outstanding and certainly is one of the closest to the water. We liked that the hotel was so close to town that we could walk everywhere, and did.

We can't say that we would ever do the all-inclusive meal plan here because our one and only experience with our first breakfast at the hotel was not a good one. How does one screw up breakfast ? Thereafter, we made our own in the suite. We would definitely recommend dining at the many exquisite restaurants in town. We had lovely experiences at the Hacienda, Marisco Mambo, La Dolce, and Maria Jiminez. Great service and wonderful food all. Pricing is what we would expect in the bay area. We also want to urge travelers to visit Ramuri, this relatively new brewery is excellent. The restaurant is beautifully furnished and the people there make you feel like family..they have music on the second floor...we went there twice and had a great experience both time.

I think over all, our experience at Pueblo Bonito was a good one..and would consider booking there again but not sure what to think about the booking situation.

Room Tip: Don't think you can choose a room..our experience was not a good one on that regard.
