Arrived at 1PM, checkin for rooms slated to start at 4PM, but Iyssell had us in our 5th floor room facing Land's End by 2:30! Room was clean and had a microwave, refrig, 2 burned electric stove, blender, toasted and Mr Coffee machine. AC worked well, balcony was fantastic, shower had variable water temps and only one sink, bed a little too soft but with 6 pillows.
We really liked the beach, esp. the way the sunhuts were set up behind a rope keeping vendors away. I usually grabbed loungers in the rear row, offered an extra layer of separation. The first three days I could go out before 10AM and get a spot on the beach, no problem. The next day, chair hogs were out in force by 7am, leaving their towels, books, magazines etc. to designate loungers were "taken". Some of the time share owners even had hotel staff setting up "their" places. Some of the chair hogs didn't actually appear until noon.
We were offered a 3 day AI pkg, started at $89 per person per day, then went down to $50 per person per day. We declined, preferring to walk into town and eat at different restaurants. We also declined the $350 room credit for attending their vacation club spiel, just didn't want to waste the time. We did have lunch (shrimp ceviche, tuna tostadas) and room service breakfast, both very good. JD or Juan worked hard to cater to drinks and lunch orders on the beach, good man! There is an overpriced deli in the Rose as well as a smaller shop in the Blanco Bonito for grocery items: we bought fruits, cheeses, cereal, and water. Saw lots of guests bringing in cases of groceries from the big package stores. The hotel has a shuttle that takes guests to their two sister resorts, the Sunset and Pacifico, but we didn't use it this visit.
We really enjoyed that the hotel was in walking distance of the marina with all its restaurants. We went out every evening to dine, was a pleasure walking restaurant row asking for specials. I even had one restaurant cook my "catch of the day" from a morning fishing trip!

Room Tip: Most rooms on the north side face Land's End. The higher the floor the better!

The hotel was overbook when we arrived, but great thanks to Henoc Leon, Luis Ojeda, Yssel, Yair, and Oscar, they made our trips memorial. I can't compliment them enough, they help us with the transition to their sister villa smoothly. We will definite come back to this hotel mostly because of the friendly staff. We enjoyed their sister hotel Rose next door too. The services at this hotel is excellent. I love the location of this hotel because my kids enjoyed all the water activities and it close to everything, but I recommend the villas without the kids.

Room Tip: All the room at Blanco has great views, and the noise level are minimum.

Three friends and I came to Cabo for a girls get away for a few nights. We have been to Cabo every year for the past 5. We chose the hotel based on location. It is on Medano beach with just a few minute walk to our favorite beach club, the Mango Deck. When we arrived, we waited at least 45 minutes in line before we were greeted by anyone. No welcome drink, no welcome smile. I even asked if there was a bar available so we could get a drink while we wait. No answer. Once we were finally helped at the desk, we were told that there were no rooms available and that we would have to go to Pueblo Bonito Sunset beach. This was so upsetting. We were only in Cabo for a few days, and with this we were losing one. After 3 hours of being in the phone with the travel agency, we relented and moved to the other hotel for the night. When we got to the other hotel, the man at the counter informed us that this is a very frequent occurrence and that they do it on purpose to try and sell the time shares at the sister resort?!?!! We at least had all inclusive for that night. When we returned to the original hotel in the morning the room we got was ocean front and there was a great view of Medano beach and land's end. The room was ok, but kind of small and the bathroom was old and small. The second day there no maid service came. With 4 women in a small room, fresh towels would have been nice. The third day that we were there, we met up with some of our friends during the day. After dinner we came back to the room to freshen up and grab jackets, and then were going to be heading out dancing. The security guards followed us and our friends to our room and would not let us in and let us close the door the whole time we were there. It was totally humiliating. We felt like we were being treated like criminals. Even when we explained the situation, they would not leave. So on the 4th day we were heading to breakfast and I remembered that the hotel had promised us free breakfast for 3 days. I went to the front desk and asked them to follow through on what they had promised, after we were bumped to another hotel and lost a day of our vacation. They agreed and sent me on my way to breakfast. The woman said to just have the waiter call the front desk. When we did ask the waiter, him and the host were shaking their heads and rolling their eyes like we were doing something wrong. It was once again totally embarrassing. I went back to the front desk, and they said sorry and got us a certificate for breakfast the next day.
The pool at the hotel is small, and if you do not get up as the sun comes up to reserve a lounge chair , you won't get one.
I have really never been so disappointed in a hotel stay before.

We spent a week at Los Cabos and did the all-inclusive package.Prior , we were not aware that one could dine at the other PB resorts also and did that over the week. Before the week we were concerned the food would be poor or sort of cafeteria-like, it was far better than we expected and one meal of BBQ night was excellent. The staff was uniformly good and several, David and Esteban in particular were wonderful. The criadas that cleaned the rooms were great and were willing to work around a foursome that included two 17 year-old girls. The PB time share person was not overly pushy. Make sure you get the ride from the airport Cape Travel was excellent and do not stop in the anti-room at the airport, go immediately outside and miss the other time share people that are quite pushy. every room has a good view of the bay and los arcos - a very memorable week- we recommend it to all.

Room Tip: do not stop at the airport anteroom before getting in your taxi/shuttle- a room full of time share people

Nothing mind blowing...staff was not friendly. Actually made you feel bad if you asked for something. Only person who was nice and went above and beyond for us was our beach attendant, Martin Pool.
Location is great. Resort is pretty small. Only a few places to eat and if you want a nicer or different place to eat they are not included in the all-inclusive packages. And they have a dress code.
Had a good time, but I think there are better places to stay.

Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos is a property that is highly congratulated by the friendliness of the staff and everybody works very hard to render an excellent service. We regret that our reviewer has a different perception, but our main goal and priority is to satisfy all of our guests. We appreciate the comments about Martin, Pool Waiter, who was already congratulated on his excellent performance.
This property has 147 rooms with 2 restaurants and a pool area, It is a small property, but with an excellent atmosphere, service, warmth of its people, ocean view and immaculate facilities and it is located on the best beach of Los Cabos “El Medano” Beach. Our sister property, Pueblo Bonito Rose, is 100 meters away and staying in any Pueblo Bonito hotel gives you the privilege to enjoy the facilities of the other properties . The all inclusive program includes the restaurants and bars of both properties (Rose and Los Cabos), and can enjoy 4 restaurants, a sushi area, 4 bars and different theme nights everynight. The only restaurant that features restaurant dress code is our Italian Specialties Restaurant “Fellini’s”, but it is semi-formal. We appreciate our reviewer’s comments and we hope that he decides to return to Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos.

Sincerely,
Goyita Osako, General Manager
