If you are looking for an absolute deam getaway in Cabo thats close to town but not too close, thats quiet so you can relax but no too Quiet, thats friendly to all their guests but not too overbearing, than the Pueblo Bonito Blanco Hotel is for you.
Right on the beach only 10 walking minutes from Downtown but a world away, sits one of the most enjoyable hotels near downtown Cabo.
We have stayed in a two bedom suite for the last 20 years and wont stay in any other resort, even the newer Pueblo Bonitos cant compair to this older but pristene flagship hotel, with an older clientel its very relaxing and even familys with small kids are always enjoying the activities and pool atmosphere. If your looking for something thats close to town but quiet, then the Blanco is for you.

Room Tip: The Presidental Suite with two bedrooms, and a comon area in between the rooms has the most increada...

Great place . Been going there since1991 and loved the small homey atmosphere. Much of that has been lost probably because of owner cutbacks. The staff didn't have the same warmth and caring as before. Seemed like now they are just doing a job. I don't like the moving the staff around to the other hotels. We don't get to see the same faces and get to know them a little. That's a big part of the friendliness and hominess. This now is like the monster resorts where no one knows anyone. You already have those, so keep Blanco different like it used to be. The pool and beach service was pathetic. Just didn't have enough waiters, not their fault. In fact they were running trying to keep up.Bring back Mario!!!!!!!!. I do commend Luis--desk, Antonio-concierge, Henoc-desk,for their kindness and warmness and helpfulness. Just keep some continuity by leaving them in their positions. Our maid also did a great service. Thank you ! By the way the rooms and functional decor need some help-- repair or up grading. Not the ombiance.

If you're tired of hotels that look just like ones in the States, if you're tired of a beach where the water is dangerous - try the Pueblo Bonito Blanco. It's Spanish / Moorish architecture is beautiful in contrast to the cinderblock constructions all along the beach. The room interiors looks like Mexican / Spanish homes. You really need to admire the bas relief - an art not found in the modern U.S. The idea here is that you'll definitely know you aren't in the U.S. at this hotel. And, it is extremely well kept, quiet and comfortable. Rooms have little kitchenettes that allow lazy coffee/breakfast mornings. The bar at Las Palomas is friendly and the food is good.
The hotel is right on Medano Beach. The water is calm enough to swim, paddleboard, and kayak - not like the hotels on the Pacific side with unuseable ocean. You can sit on the beach all day and watch people doing everything under the sun or view boats / yachts going in and out. We've owned there for 20 years and have never regretted buying. The other Pueblos don't hold a candle to this wonderful, unique boutique.

Room Tip: The ground floor doesn't have an ocean view, but open onto lush gardens. The higher the floor, t...

We stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Resort, Los Cabos Mar. 19 - April 2,2012 through RCI. It is an older resort, but extremely well kept and very clean. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite that had a mini-kitchen which included a stove top only, small fridge, sink, dishes, pots and a microwave. The kitchen area had a round table and 4 chairs. The living room area was next to the sliding glass doors that opened up onto a balcony. At check in we requested either the 4th or 5th floor and a good ocean view. Our room was 406 and the view was spectacular (it did not hurt to tip the receptionist). The first morning of our stay we were sitting out drinking coffee and heard seals barking in the bay. The only complaint about the room is that the bedroom had 2 double beds and we are used to a king,

There is a small gym on the second floor to use at no cost. There are 2 tread mills, a bike, recumbent bike, a stepper and weights.

We had to save loungers early in a.m. to get a bit of shade. We did not buy the all inclusive package as it was $70.00 each a day and we are not big eaters. Some groceries can be purchased at the resort but are very pricey. Take the bus to the Walmart which costs 10 pesos to get groceries. Either take a cab back ($7.00 U.S) or take the bus. If you take the bus going back you have to get off downtown and catch another bus to get back to the resort which is a bit of a hassle. A short walk from the resort are a couple of corner stores where you can get bottled water, snacks, beer and wine cheaper.

Restaurants are fairly pricey in the area, but often if you walk down the beach you can get coupons for the restaurants and get a discounted meal or a free drink with dinner. There are lots of restaurants at the marina. We ate supper a couple of times at Cilantros at the resort. If you eat early at 5 p.m. they still are using their lunch menu and prices. The enchiladas were very good. Happy hour at the resort is from 3-4 I think, so the drinks are 2 for 1. Ask the wait staff as they were very friendly and accommodating. A glass of wine is $10.00. Note: The internet in your room costs $89.00 a week from an outside source otherwise use the internet at the cafe area at the Bonito Rose (sister hotel next door). We purchased the internet for our last week as it got to be tedious going next door. We tipped the maid daily and had great service, lots of clean towels etc.

We had a very enjoyable 2 weeks at this resort.

Room Tip: Ask for room on the 4th or 5th floor and a good ocean view.

We have going to Pueblo Bonito Blanco for years, and each year the keep chipping away at the quality of the services. The staff is doing the best they can, it seems to be a management issue. This year it was almost impossible to get service at the pool. It seems that they do not have enough staff. The wait staff was seriously overloaded. The prices make Maui prices look good. We used their all inclusive for the first time. We prepaid for the all inclusive on line and had all kinds of problems with proving that we had prepaid. Very little pool service and a limited restaurant menu. The kids program is cost prohibitive. Before the prices got so high our grandkids loved to program and the staff of the kids program. Rooms are not very quite, showers in the next room, people walking on the floor above. This winter will be looking for other options than this hotel.

My new wife and I loved this place. Not only is it top on the line in just about everything, the staff makes your stay well worth it. They are friendly, helpful, considerate and go out of their way to please you. I recommend anyone looking for a relaxing vacation to consider this location.

Room Tip: The suites are the way to go

Chose the hotel due to previous TripAdvisor reports and was not disappointed. Though a bit dated as expected, the hotel and grounds were immaculate. The army of workers, though omnipresent, were unobtrusive. The room was standard and kept extremely clean. Plenty of towels and more given without complaint if asked. The staff at all levels really were interested in guests' having a memorable time. As a three property (at least) resort in Cabos, guests has access to all facilities. The pool at the sister property next door has a bigger and nicer pool so for those pool loungers, it is a better bet. Food is average (we had the all inclusive plan) EXCEPT for Felliini's Restaurant at the Rose, next door. It was a 5 star dining experience that rivaled anything in New York, including the service and pallet cleansing ice between courses. Of interest is that the hotels are within walking distance of "downtown" and the marina's. Each morning I would walk (easy 20 minute walk) there and back. A nice way to start the day. You can't go wrong with a stay at either resort. A word of caution however, as noted in TA reviews, once you get out of the airport you are fine. The timeshare sharks however at the airport are brutal. Simply disregard until you are physically out of the airport and you will be fine.
