Good news - the course is well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. Bad news - the course is just average. Totally flat. Wanders through an undeveloped housing development. No memorable holes -- most have long waste areas running along one side of the fairway; about half have artificial ponds near the green. The rates are lower than other courses in Cabo for good reason.

The course condition - excellent. Well cared for with lots of ground crew out on the course keeping things in good working order.

There were a few holes that had a very funky smell in the air - eau de sewage. Could do without that.

For the price, I was disappointed in a couple of things but primarily the lack of food options. There were some rather pathetic sandwiches available for purchase at the clubhouse and a few snack options like chips. But not up to snuff with comparable courses.

Course marshall was great. Got us set up with good overview of the course and was very friendly to talk to.

Had a great time with my father-in-law playing golf at Cabo San Lucas Country Club. The course was in very good shape and it was a nice change of pace playing in these surroundings when I usually play in the hills of North Carolina. There were a few holes with really nice views of the ocean, but not many. It was not extremely difficult, which was nice, but challenging enough.

Cabo has world class golf, but at wold class prices, plus you generally will pay $30+ each way for cab fare. Cabo San Lucas CC is a really terrific course, close to Cabo San Lucas hotels, at about 1/2 what you will pay for the other courses in the area. Granted, no holes down on the water (need to pay $250+ to get those), but the overall course is a terrific layout with many water hazards in play. I highly recommend this course.

We wanted a place close to Cabo and found the CC on-line. The course was well kept and fair from the white and silver tee boxes plus the greens fee was reasonable at $150.00 per. The staff was friendly and we were also glad to have been pared with Randy and Candy who gave us insight. We'll play here again.
