This is a great golf course. The Ocean course is under renovation, but we were happy to play the desert course. It rained heavy in the morning, but Greg, the golf director let us go out at 11 AM. We had the place to ourselves for a while, it was nice to play at our pace. The course winds around the mountain, finishing by the ocean. Tough, but fair. The fairways and greens in great shape. I really loved the finishing holes facing the ocean.
Despite being the only ones on the course for a couple hours, they still had the marshal and beverage cart going around, service as usual. Very nice, and appreciated.
They give you a yardage book, use it. You have some guessing to do, corners to cut. But there are some holes where you can place a drive that will make you life much easier than if you just blast away.
We loved this course and had a great time, thanks!
