“Can't wait to go back!”

My husband and I visited in October 2011 for the first time with friends and enjoyed the ambience, food and service. Totally recommend the Israel's house sauce, it was fantastic and the menu was very creative (husband had octopus). We are planning our next trip to Cabo and can't wait to go back to this restaurant. It was awesome! Totally recommend it.

“Excellent!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2012

Based on TA reviews, we headed to Misiones de kino tonight. It was just as previous viewers had described. My husband and I both had the Palchilla fish of the day with Israel's special (Palchilla) sauce, that you can have on anything. But tonight's catch of the day was flounder, my favorite, so there was never any question what I would choose. We also had the shrimp quesadilla, which was excellent, and my husband had a crab salad. There was ample street parking and a few spots in the restaurant's own lot. The margaritas were huge and delicious, the wait staff attentive anspd friendly. Very good dinner, thanks to TA recommendations!

“Not Open”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2012

Due to a travel day we went to Misiones for a late lunch / early dinner at 4pm. They supposedly open at 3pm. On arrival, the doors were open and so we went to sit down but were told that they were not ready and to come back. We were not impressed.

“One of our favorite parts of the trip was finding this gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2012

We loved this place! Lots of locals and tourists. Great service with helpful recommendations. The octopus was the best we have ever had. I had the shrimp with Diablo sauce the first night and lobster the second night. We would have been there for a 3rd if we had more time. Margaritas were huge. Bar area is good fun. Try their tequila in the barrel- very smooth. Ambiance is great and not tacky like the marina area.

“Good but not Maro's, not even close. ”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2012

Nice ambiance and rich Tortilla soup but overall not memorable. Artifacts on the walls, soft lighting and music provide an encouraging start but the 'experience curve' goes down from there ie: Margarita arrives AFTER the main course, asked for water, got a bottle but NO glass. In case you are wondering, it's not that crowded.

I followed their advise and got the shrimp with the claimed to special house garlic sauce. Nice, not special. Well chosen and properly cooked ingredients but not as memorable as Maro's shrimp and lobster. Now, on the other hand the Margarita is a piece of art.

Not inexpensive either.

All and all, I won't remember it in a year from now. There are much better places in Cabo.
