“Still our favorite”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2013

We are fortunate enough that we are able to visit Cabo twice a year. We found Cabo Cantina years ago, and it is and has been our favorite breakfast and dinner spot since. Great service, a truly outstanding waitstaff, and superb food. Shrimp, lobster, even cheeseburgers, all reasonably priced and delicious!

“Good food, nice staff”

Tortilla soup is the best I've had. Maria was a very attentive waitress. The place is very casual and they broadcast most sporting events.

“One Great Cantina”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2013

We happened across Cabo Cantina after a day of walking around the Marina and Centro area. By the time we left the Cabo area two weeks later we had visited Cabo Cantina three times and it would have been more if it had not been for the fact we had already paid for an all-inclusive stay.

The staff were magnificent. Yesenia is such a vibrant and engaging young women that will greet you and engage in wonderful conversation. Sure, she is selling things, but never pressured us once we said no. She also didn't walk away and never talk to use again. The waiters are professional and attentive.

We made a reservation at our resort to come in one evening to watch a Winnipeg Jets game. Now, I realize that College Basketball finals are underway so I figured we would get one of the side TV's, without an audio feed. No way! Front and center will full audio for the whole game. When our team lost, the Manager came over an gave us a couple of free shots of tequila. A couple of days later we stopped by with some friends and the Jets were to be on in about 30 minutes. They dialed it up without hesitation (no audio this time, but of course its first come, first served).

The food is excellent. The chicken wings, while only drummies, had to be the best I had tasted...and I love my wings. All the other choices were excellent. Don't eat too much of the green sauce ("Mexican Wasabi") as it will burn both ways. Do they ever give you a lot if your order certain items from the menu. I can't imagine who could possibly eat all of it. I'm not sure why, as there must be lots of waste. Anyway, you got to try a little.

The only downside (mostly for the ladies) is that the washrooms are separate from the restaurant (a very short walk down the back courtyard) and a small tip is recommended to get the key from the attendant. Otherwise, they are relatively clean.

I would recommend the Cabo Cantina any time to anyone. Enjoy!

“Great chicken wings and accommodating on which sporting event you want to watch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

We had gone to the restaurant because its difficult to see NHL games anywhere in Mexico unless its the NBC sports nationally televised game in the US. So we ventured to the Cabo Cantina which I found online.
They found the specific game we wanted to watch without a problem. Oddly enough we started to realize that every TV was on a different event and each TV had people who specifically asked for the event.
They have easily 10 TVs that can all be on separate games.
As for the food, we are from Buffalo and ordered chicken wings crispy and hot. They were probably the best tasting chicken wings I have ever had outside of Buffalo!
The stff was very attentive. Also check the website before you go to the place, they had a free Margarita for everyone in your party if you mention the website!

Food was good, great salsa selection. Comfortable chairs. Many TV 's and it was English speaking channel, which is not always the case.
