“Best service in Cabo!”

Carlos the bartender was a great host. He was very welcoming and he went out of his way for us. A great bar that shows an appreciation for law enforcement and fire fighters. We will be back!

Thank you very much for declaring that Happy Ending Cantina has the "Best Service in Cabo!" as the name of your review. I really appreciate that you gave your review Trip Advisor's highest "5-Star" rating.

Carlos asked me to personally thank you for describing him as "a great host" who "was very welcoming and he went our of his way for us." Carlos is one of our most popular day shift bartenders. He's very professional, honest, ethical and has outstanding customer service skills. I'm very fortunate that Carlos works for Happy Ending.

Thank you for also declaring Happy Ending as "a great bar that shows an appreciation for law enforcement and fire fighters." We encourage all Police Officers, Fire Fighters and other Public Safety Officers to personalize our entrance walls with their names and the names of their agencies and to donate a department patch, hat and/or T-shirt that we affix to special areas of our ceilings. My father, my two brothers and my two sons all became law enforcement officers in Los Angeles and we all know the perils Public Safety Officers face on a daily basis while risking their lives for strangers.

You live in Wenatchee, Washington, located at the confluence of the Columbia and Wenatchee rivers near the eastern foothills of the Cascade Range. The entire area where you live is spectacularly beautiful! "Wenatchee" was named after the "Wenatchi" Indian tribe located close by. "Wenatchi" is a Sahaptin word that means either "a river which comes from canyons" or " the robe of the rainbow." The Native American Indians who lived at the source of a river were called "Awenatchela" people. Throughout the 19th century, white settlers came to homestead the land. In 1888, Wenatchee was platted and, in 1893, it was officially incorporated as a city. Seven years later the official 1900 U.S. Census counted 451 residents. Wenatchee is sometimes referred to as the "Buckle of the Power Belt of the Great Northwest," a metaphor for the series of hydroelectric dams on the Columbia River. Rock Island Dam is located nearest to the middle of this "belt," and so was labeled the "Buckle." The City of Wenatchee shares its name with the Wenatchee River, Lake Wenatchee and the Wenatchee National Forest. Wenatchee is known as the "Apple Capital of the World" due to the valley's many orchards.

Best wishes for lots of only the "Best" type of Happy Endings to all your endeavors, hopes and dreams wherever life's journeys might take you.

“Average only ...”
Reviewed June 14, 2014 via mobile

While the drinks are cheap I am not sure what is so amazing about this place... Service was average... Don't worry about the cocktails... Jelly shots a bit of fun but there are plenty of better places we have found...

You named your review “Average only ...”

Thousands and thousands of customers have personally told me how much they thoroughly enjoy Happy Ending Cantina's EXCELLENT ambiance, service, food, drinks, the cleanliness of its premises and the honest and ethical way we conduct business. As of today, Happy Ending has received 1,371 EXCELLENT "5-Star" rated reviews (Trip Advisor's highest category) in the 5 1/2 years we've been open. These "5-Star" rated reviews have consistently complimented our service, food, drink, ambiance, etc. I've personally spoken to thousands of satisfied customers who've returned to Happy Ending year-after-year.

While we strive to give ALL our customers delicious food and drinks with excellent "5-Star" rated service ALL the time, I know it's impossible to please ALL our customers ALL the time. Just like any business owner, I realize there are some people who cannot be pleased no matter how hard owner's try. It appears to me that Happy Ending Cantina is simply not the right place for you.

Best wishes for having lots of Happy Endings to all your hopes and dreams.

“Number 2 in cabos?”
Reviewed June 14, 2014 via mobile

We saw the review and wanted to give it a try. This might be a nice place during the day time. We visited in the evening and the food is just ok. Chicken wings are very dried and margaritas is alright.

“Cheap drink special”
Reviewed June 13, 2014

My husband and I stopped here for our first night out in Cabo. 2 beers, 2 double tequila shots for $5 can't be beat and got our night off to a great start. The bartender was very nice and offered us many suggestions of other places to try in Cabo.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments and great recommendations you wrote about Happy Ending Cantina and for naming your review "Cheap Drink Special."

I appreciate that you and your husband stopped at Happy Ending your very first night in Cabo San Lucas. I'm happy you enjoyed our everyday, all-the-time, low prices and wrote that our "2 beers, 2 double tequila shots for $5 can't be beat" and also that your bartender "was very nice and offered many suggestions of other places to try in Cabo."

The REGULAR PRICE of our "Promo" is ALWAYS only $5 and is in effect all the time. The "Promo" consists of 2 ice cold full-size bottles (355 ml) of Corona, Corona Light, Pacifico or Pacifico Light AND 2 huge double shots of our super-smooth, pure agave, delicious tequila for only $5 all the time....And "all the time" means just that....since the day we opened almost 6 years ago, yesterday, today, tonight, tomorrow, the day-after-tomorrow, next week, next month and next year....365 and 24/7. Note that Happy Ending never sells the cheap unpopular brands of Mexican beers found elsewhere at higher prices.

In addition, Happy Ending never used gimmicky pricing schemes or other "tricks" to entice customers to visit. For example, Happy Ending never has "Happy Hour," "2-for-1" or "Ladies' Night"....we don't have to because all our REGULAR PRICES are lower than those who do. Caveat Emptor!

Happy Ending has always been run with an honest and ethical approach to doing business. For example, if you buy a $2 ice cold bottle of Pacifico and pay with a $100 bill, you'll receive $98 USD in change. You'll never be shortchanged or receive Mexican pesos as change. Our policy has always been "Pay in dollars and your change will be in dollars....pay in pesos and your change will be in pesos." Another example is allowing anyone, customer or not, to use Happy Ending's FREE secure high-speed WiFi, or make FREE long distance international phone calls, or use our spotlessly clean restrooms for FREE.

I hope the next time you visit Happy Ending your review will rise to a "5-Star" rating.

You live in beautiful and historic Kansas City, Missouri. In the early 1700s, the first documented European to visit the area was "Étienne de Veniard, Sieur de Bourgmont." He was also the first European to explore the lower Missouri River. He described the junction of the "Grande Rivière des Cansez" and "Missouri River" and was the first to refer to them by those names. French cartographer "Guillaume Delisle" later used the descriptions to make the first reasonably accurate map of the area. Kansas City was originally spelled and pronounced simply as "Kansas," after "Cansez" in French, when it was founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River. In 1853, the city of "Kansas" was created. However, its name was confusing upon the establishment of "Kansas Territory" in 1854 and it was necessary to change the name of the town to "Kansas City" to distinguish it from "Kansas Territory." The area is infamous for the Border War that occurred during the American Civil War, including the "Battle of Westport and Bleeding Kansas." The 18th and Vine Neighborhood later gave birth to the musical styles of Kansas City jazz and Kansas City blues. The neighborhood is also known for its delicious Kansas City-style barbecue.

Best wishes for having lots and lots of "Promo" type of Happy Endings to all your endeavors, hopes and dreams wherever life's journeys might take you.

“I wanted this to be better - but we'll give it another try”
Reviewed June 10, 2014

I really wanted this place to be better based on all the reviews. Our service was also very, very average, and slow. We did get enormous, cheap, and delicious nachos!! We ordered red beers which we actually the worst of the trip (but not horrible....we just happened to have some great red beers this trip!) Next time I'll just get the 2 beers and 2 shots :) We will give this place another try at our next trip in February. Loved the cheap, good, and filling food - hope the service is better next time. Again, service was not horrible - but didn't see anything that made this place really stand out.

You named your review "“I wanted this to be better - but we'll give it another try." I'm sorry that you felt you received average/slow service and wish you would have let me or a manager know about it before you left. I take any allegations of slow service very seriously and will do whatever it takes to make sure it never happens again. Even though your review was posted a month AFTER you visited it would help if you could let me know the name or description of the server and the date and time you visited so I can swiftly and appropriately handle the matter.

Thank you for describing Happy Ending's nachos as "enormous, cheap, and delicious" and the other food you had as "cheap, good and filling."

The crew and I are looking forward to seeing you back for another go-around in February.

You live in beautiful and historic Boise, Idaho. Boise possesses an independence and creative spirit not found in many other places. With its stunning scenery, abundant natural resources and year-round outdoor activities, Boise consistently lands on national "best places" lists for families, businesses and recreation year after year. Boise has a rich history: The area was called "Boise" long before the establishment of Fort Boise. The word "Boise" comes from French-Canadian "boisé," which literally means "wooded." The location of the original Fort Boise was near the Oregon border and was built by the Hudson's Bay Company in the 1830s It the 1850s, the fort was abandoned. In 1863, during the Civil War, the U.S. Army reestablished Fort Boise in the present day location of "Boise." The did so after several massacres occurred along the Oregon Trail. Fort Boise's new location was selected because it was near the intersection of the Oregon Trail with a major road connecting the Boise Basin (Idaho City) and the Owyhee (Silver City) mining areas, both of which were booming. During the mid-1860s, Idaho City was the largest city in the Northwest. Fort Boise grew rapidly and it's name was changed to "City of Boise" when it was incorporated in 1863. The original Idaho Territory was larger than Texas. Following the creation of Montana Territory, Boise was made the Territorial Capital of Idaho Territory in a controversial decision which overturned a district court ruling by a one-vote majority in the Territorial Supreme Court along geographic lines in 1866.

Best wishes for Happy Endings to all your hopes and dreams wherever life's journeys might take you.
