We were at Happy Endings on Wednesday (06/04 and on Friday (06/06) and had the best time. The two young guys that were bar tending on both evenings were just great. Good drinks and fun atmosphere. If you are in Cabo and don't go to Happy Ending Cantina you really missed out on a good time.

Trip Advisor has designated you a "Top Contributor" because you've written so many great reviews about businesses in 21 different cities. Your comments, opinions and recommendations are very important to everyone who uses Trip Advisor while planning their vacations. Thank you for declaring Happy Ending Cantina to be the "Best Bar In Cabo!!!!!!!" as the title of your review. I also sincerely appreciate you gave your review Trip Advisor's highest "5-Star" rating.

I'm so happy to learn that both times you visited Happy Ending the same two bartenders whom you described as being "just great" took good care of you and were part of the reason you had "the best time."

Thank you for describing Happy Ending as having "good drinks" and a "fun atmosphere."

I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate that you declared Happy Ending to be the "Best Bar in Cabo." There can be only one "Best Bar" in Cabo and the competition to be the "Best" is tough. Thank you again!

I'll make a deal with you: "IITYWIMWYBMAD?" Hahahaha. We also sell men's and women's T-shirts with the acronym on the front and a beautiful Happy Ending vintage pinup on the back. We also sell koozies printed with "IITYWIMWYBMAD?"

You're very fortunate to live in beautiful and historic Huntington, New York, located on Long Island Sound just 40 miles from Manhattan. In 1653, three men from Oyster Bay purchased a six-square mile parcel of land from the Matinecock Native American Tribe. The price paid was "six coats, six hoes, six kettles, six hatchets, six shirts, ten knives, six fathoms of wampum, three muxes and thirty needles.” The parcel is known as the "First Purchase." The three men immediately turned the land over to English settlers who were already living there. The name “Huntington” was chosen in honor of "Huntingdon" (spelled as "....don" instead of "....ton") in Cambridgeshire, U.K., the birthplace of Oliver Cromwell. Cromwell was "Lord Protector of England, Scotland and Ireland" at the time the town was established. Because Huntington was populated largely by English settlers, unlike the rest of the New Amsterdam colony, the town voted in 1660 to become part of the Connecticut colony rather than remain under the authority of New Amsterdam. It was not until the British gained control of New Amsterdam in 1664, which they renamed "New York," that Huntington was formally restored to the jurisdiction of New York. Following the Battle of Long Island during the American Revolutionary War, British troops used Huntington as their headquarters, and remained encamped there until the end of the war. From that initial settlement, Huntington grew over subsequent years to include all of the land presently comprising the modern Towns of Huntington and Babylon. The southern part of the town was formally separated to create Babylon in 1872. The end of World War II brought about an explosive growth of population in Huntington, as in the rest of the region. Farms and resorts gave way to homes, and Huntington has transformed into a major bedroom community for nearby New York City.

Best wishes for having lots and lots of only "The "Best" type of Happy Endings to all your endeavors, hopes and dreams wherever life's journeys might take you.

So we read the reviews and we thought...Must stop by. Well...as soon as our plane landed we checked in to our resort and grabbed a cab to Happy Endings. We were greeted by the staff and had the $5 Beer and Tequila Double Shot Special.......The staff was exceptional, the drinks ice cold, the food was great. We stayed for quite some time that first day in Cabo....and found ourselves back every day/night of our trip at least once. Sure the drinks are reasonable, but what really had us coming back was the people there..The Staff. We met other vacationers at our resort and were excited about telling them about Happy Endings which more times than not...we all ended up there! .....It felt like home at Happy Endings. We hadn't written a review yet but after reading the bump on a log review from someone saying Why go there?.....Well he obviously doesn't have a pulse...or is just a boring unhappy person!!! Happy Endings is by far the best small bar in Cabo! We will be back!!!!!! Gary & Sheri

Gary & Sheri P from Sparks, Nevada:

Thank you for choosing to write your very first Trip Advisor review about Happy Ending Cantina. I hope you write many more reviews about establishments you visit in the future.

I'm very happy that you gave your review Trip Advisor's highest "5-Star" rating and wrote that Happy Ending Cantina was the"Highlight Of Our Trip To Cabo!" as the name of your review.

I really enjoyed reading about your experiences at Happy Ending and for learning that you discovered Happy Ending after first reading some of our reviews on Trip Advisor. You became "Official Members" of our Happy Ending "Family" when you returned "every day/night" of your Cabo vacation. Repeat customers are the life-blood of any successful business. Many people, such as yourself, have described the feeling they get at Happy Ending as being similar to the feeling they get at their neighborhood bar back home. Many customers have compared Happy Ending to the Boston neighborhood bar in the old TV series "Cheers."

Thank you for describing Happy Ending has having "reasonable" priced drinks, with an "exceptional" staff, drinks that were "ice cold," food that was "great," and for ending your review by declaring that "Happy Ending is by far the best small bar in Cabo!" There can be only one best of anything and I'm very happy that in your opinion it's Happy Ending!

I sincerely appreciate that you expressed your truthful opinions about a "terrible" review recently written about Happy Ending. The bad review was written a month after the allegations allegedly occurred yet I've not yet been able to corroborate anything they claimed happened. Our staff is, without a doubt, the best in the business and one of the main reasons why Happy Ending has consistently been rated so high by Trip Advisor over the last 5 years.

I'm pleased you enjoyed our "Promo" which you described as our "$5 Beer and Tequila Double Shot Special." Actually, we never have drink "specials" at Happy Ending. We don't have to because our everyday, all-the-time REGULAR PRICES are always the lowest in Cabo San Lucas. And we never resort to gimmicky marketing schemes that sound too good to be true....until you learn the real price after you get your bill! For example, our customers never have to first check the time of day, the day of the week, or whether they're a man or a women before deciding if they can afford to drink at Happy Ending....because we never use gimmick prices such as Happy Hour, 2-for-1 or Ladies' Night. The REGULAR PRICE of our "Promo," is only $5....all-the-time. The "Promo" consists of 2 ice cold bottles of Corona, Corona Light, Pacifico or Pacifico Light AND 2 huge double shots of our famous, delicious, super-smooth, pure agave tequila....that's $5 for ALL 4 drinks....everyday, every night, 10:00 am to 4:00 am, today, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, 365 and 24/7. And note we only sell the world's most popular brands of Mexican beers...NEVER the cheap, crappy tasting brands.

You live in very beautiful and historic, Sparks, Nevada, located close to Reno. In 1850, the first European emigrants settled in the area. These early settlers often sold cattle to California-bound emigrants. The emigrants' cattle were commonly weak and sick from the long and arduous journey by the time they arrived and they needed fresh animals to take them the rest of the way over the Sierra Nevada mountains. As part of the deal, the settlers would receive the emigrants' cattle, and then fatten them up to sell to the next year's batch of emigrants. The population density in the area remained very low until 1904 when the Southern Pacific Railroad built a switch yard and maintenance sheds there. The city that sprung up around them was first called "Harriman" after E. H. Harriman, president of the Southern Pacific. The city was quickly renamed "Sparks" after John Sparks, then governor of Nevada. Sparks remained a small and sleepy town until the 1950s, when economic growth in Reno triggered a housing boom in Sparks. During the 1970s, the area south of the railroad started to fill up with warehouses and light industry. In 1984 the tower for John Ascuaga's Nugget Casino Resort was finished, giving Sparks its first, and currently only, high-rise casino.

The entire crew and I are eager to see you both again....please try and find the means and the time to make it happen soon!

Best wishes for having lots of "Highlight" type of Happy Endings to all your endeavors, hopes and dreams wherever life's journeys might find you.

We sought this place out because it is rated #2 in Cabo... really? We had the worst service ever here, even with the normally slow pace in Mexico. We literally waited with empty drinks for 20 minutes with no less than 7 staff socializing behind the bar, literally could not get eye contact. The food was average, we had better food almost everywhere else we visited. I rarely give a negative review, but this place was totally over rated! Fun outdoor environment with American sports on the TV's, but still not worth the visit- save your time.

iwannag0there from Fresno, California:

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I sincerely apologize for the "worst service" you described. There is no excuse for any of our employees to "socialize behind the bar," especially so when a customer is waiting for service. I have very strict written rules that prohibit employees, other than Bartenders and Managers, from going behind the bars. Violations of our rules can lead to termination. Managers are paid to do their jobs which includes enforcing rules. I've ordered an investigation into your allegations to determine the identity of the "socializing" employees and to determine which Manager was on-duty. It would help speed up the internal investigation if you could let me know the date and time the allegations took place so our 16-camera video surveillance system can quickly be examined to determine which employees/Manager were working.

Trip Advisor has rated Happy Ending Cantina as being one of the top 4 restaurant/bars (out of 336) in Cabo San Lucas for the last 3 years....because of the consistently outstanding customer service our employees provide. We work extremely hard to make sure all our customers has a wonderful time everytime they visit. I personally write detailed personal responses to each and every review which shows the level of importance I place on Trip Advisor reviews. Bad customer service will never be tolerated at Happy Ending. Again, I apologize for the poor service you received. I hope you can give us another shot the next time you visit Cabo.

Trip Advisor has designated you a "Senior Reviewer" because of all the great reviews you've written. Thank you very much for writing a review about Happy Ending Cantina, for rating it will all "5-Stars" and for naming it "Place to Get You Started."

Thank you for ALL your wonderful recommendations, such as "GO here if you want to have a good time....the specials are too good to give up." Happy Ending's REGULAR PRICES are ALWAYS the lowest you'll find in Cabo San Lucas. Plus, we only sell the world's most popular brands of Mexican beers....never the cheap crappy tasting brands that others sell for more than Happy Ending. For example, the REGULAR PRICE for 2 ice cold bottles of Corona, Corona Light, Pacifico or Pacifico Light AND 2 huge double shots of our super-smooth pure agave tequila is ALWAYS only $5....for all 4 drinks! Happy Ending NEVER uses gimmick prices like Happy Hour, 2-for-1 or Ladies' Night. We don't have to because our REGULAR PRICES are lower than all the gimmick prices! Caveat Emptor!

You live in beautiful and historic Fort McMurray, Alberta. In 1778, the first European explorer, Peter Pond, came to the region in search of furs and ended up setting up a trading post. However in 1788, he closed his post and moved it to Fort Chipewyan, now the oldest continuous settlement in Alberta. In 1790, explorer Alexander MacKenzie made the first recorded description of the area's oil sands. By that time, trading between the explorers and the Cree was already occurring at the confluence of the Clearwater and Athabasca Rivers. The Hudson's Bay Company and the North West Company were in fierce competition in the area. Fort McMurray, a former North West Company post, was rebuilt in 1870 and named after HUDSON'S BAY CO Chief Factor William McMurray. Fort McMurray was already well established as a Hudson's Bay Company post and continued to also operate as a transportation stopover in the decades afterwards. The Alberta and Great Waterways Railway arrived in 1915 which complemented the existing steamboat service. The community has played a significant role in the history of the petroleum industry in Canada. Fort McMurray is now considered one of the hearts of Alberta's and Canada's hubs of oil production as it's located near the famous Athabasca Oil Sands. Besides the oil sands, the economy also relies on natural gas and oil pipelines, forestry and tourism. Five oil sand companies operate in Fort McMurray.

Best wishes for having lots of "Place to Get You Started" type of Happy Endings to all your endeavors, hopes and dreams wherever life's journeys might take you.

Stopped in late one night after spending the day in San Juan del Cabo with "stomach issues." Wife was hungry and wanted to try it. Got the polo "super burrito" and it looked so good we shared it. It was tasty (not the best burrito I've ever had, but pretty darn good) and for $7 usd, was a fair price for the area. More Tex-Mex than authentic, I think that's probably what other reviewers like about it.

Thank you for all your nice comments about the "Super Chicken Burrito" that was large enough for you to share with your wife and thank you for naming your review "Good Food, Fair Price."

The most delicious burrito I've ever had in my life is Happy Ending's "El Jefe Super Burrito." It's 8 inches long by 8 inches around and is always priced at ONLY $8. It's loaded with the freshest and best ingredients you'll ever find in a super burrito.

I hope next time you visit you can stop in during the day time hours.

Best wishes for lots of "Super" type of Happy Endings to all your hopes and dreams wherever life's journeys might find you.
